Has anyone recently stayed at Buena Vista Suites? I understand that they were newly renovated and was wondering what you thought.

Thank you for your help!

I'm looking at this hotel for a last minute trip to WDW. Any recent reviews?:confused3 :confused3

I will be staying there the 30th for one night , I can let you know when i get back.

We have not stayed there since it was renovated but we did spend 2 nights there back in May and it was fantastic! Our room was spacious and very clean, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious! We enjoyed it so much we have booked another 2 night stay on to an already planned Disney trip for December, we made the reservation before they renovated so obviously that was not a deciding factor for us :)

By the way, they have some great rates right now too ... we got a queen suite for only $79 each night, can't beat that especially when it included a hot breakfast in the morning:)

I haven't stayed here yet, but I have read reviews on it in the past. The only thing I would worry about is the pool being so small. We may book it for 3 nights in June.

I just booked 2 nights there in Dec. The photos look great so I'm looking forward to it. We also got a great FLorida resident rate that includes breakfast. I will post a review when I get back.

How'd you get $79/night? We used the Mousesavers code and got $89 - we're going to be there for one night Dec. 13 before we move over to WDW.

I'd love to hear a recent review, too! (The lady from Mousesavers just stayed there recently and said it was wonderful.)

I booked directly from the site and received the $79.95 rate but the mousesavers code gets you a $25.00 credit for the restaurant. I will never get a chance to use it so I just went with the website rate. Will be staying there from December 5-9. I can post a review when I get back. Not sure if I can post the website but trip advisor has many reviews.

We just got back - 6 nights for $79/night. Definitely a great deal. The room was nice and smelled like new furniture. The bathroom had a funky odor to it like a smell of sewage at night - not terrible enough to complain but just strange. We wish there was a door that separated the bedroom from the bathroom area so we didn't bother the kids but it worked out ok. The breakfast was.... well.... it was free. So you get what you pay for. Some days it was better than others. You could get eggs cooked fresh and toast. The ham that was soaking in water was gross and some days the food was hot and some days it was cold. The fruit was canned and there 4 choices of cereals. I suggest going early - before 8:30 since it gets very crowded and hard to find a seat.
Definitely a good deal for $79/night!

Thanks for the review - we're headed there on Sunday.

We ended up with $99/night - didn't realize they would charge extra for 4 people (being that it's a suite with 2 double beds).

I just want to get out of this COLD for a few days!:cool1:

Really? I hope it's not extra for more than two... all six of us are staying there this Saturday night. But, it's only two adults... maybe that makes the difference?

I guess so. We're 4 adults and 1 toddler.

I'm assuming the extra charge is for the breakfast :confused3

We'll be crossing in the night - we arrive this Sunday

Maybe it is for the breakfast - who knows! We got our price using the MouseSavers code. We're driving in from St. Louis, and will get there in the evening Saturday and staying at Buena Vista Suites, then are moving to Pop Century for the rest of our stay. :cool1:
Hope you have a great trip - the lady at Mousesavers just stayed there recently and said the updated/refurbished suites were really nice, so that's good to hear!

We stayed there a couple weeks ago and we were 3 adults and 3 kids.
are rate was 88.00 and it came to 99.00 with taxes. No extra charge for breakfast or extra adult.

We just returned from WDW and spent the last 2 nights of our vacation at BVS, and let me tell you it was great! Our room was beautiful, and spacious and my husband was in love with the 2 flat screen TV's in the room. We were in room 623, and had a view of the back of the resort, which didn't bother us one bit, we actually got to see the Wishes fireworks from MK one night and Illuminations both nights! Beds were comfy, pillows a bit more squishy then we like but it was fine. Breakfast each morning was delicious and weekend days its available from 6:30a, until 10:30am and on weekends its from 7am until 10:30am ...by far a great deal and we will certainly stay here again in the future!

I'd like to stay here for a few days in June, but right now the rate is $119. I am hoping it will go down to $89.
