Budget TS suggestions

hi! My kids are Disney Adults now so I'm looking for suggestions for TS restaurants that are affordable if they order from the main entrees, or have more child options. We've done mostly buffets on our last trips but it's very expensive now that they're "adults." We really like having one sit down meal a day to rest and relax.

Thank you!

BOG is great for lunch or dinner. 11 and 13 yo's loved the kid's meals-one steak, one fish. Only buffets and character meals require 10+ to pay adult prices. Most table-service will let teens order from the kids menu if they want. Food at Tony's was mediocre, but prices were only a little more than quick service, and the atmosphere watching the night parade from the patio was amazing!

For HS, we like Sci-Fi better than the atmosphere at Mama Melrose. Yak and Yeti is great at AK. Lots of options at EPCOT and resorts. Peruse the TS menus online to see what might appeal to your family. Every quick and table service restaurant we have tried has allowed our tweens to order kid's meals.

We try to eat healthy, stay on a budget and not over-order food. But that being said, there have been times when my kids have had fries and applesauce for dinner when we've been at a restaurant. Don't be afraid to ask for an extra plate and let them share meals or order side dishes that you know they will eat just because you are at Disney.

TS? I like Trails end buffet- it's a great price and all you can eat- The Plaza in MK Biergarten buffet for lunch-

They should still be able to order children's meals if that's what they want. Or they can split a meal if the main entree is too much for them. Appetizers instead of main courses (even I do that sometimes).

Eating your TS at lunch helps keep costs down: Chefs de France, Nine Dragons, Rose & Crown, Liberty Tree Tavern all have reasonable lunch options. I consider an entree under $20.00 reasonable. As you pointed out, buffets are going to be expensive options.

Trails End, The Plaza, Via Napoli pizza, Sanaa (bread service! & you can split their larger entrees), 50's Prime Time (adult fried chicken or sampler is easily shareable).

Also we had Yak and Yeti a few months ago and we ordered an app so I didn't wanna go to heavy on an entree. I ordered a "side" of House Fried Rice ($9.99, included chicken pork and shrimp), and the chicken one was something like $6.99. This was a side and the bowl was huge. As big as my head. I barely made a dent in it - so for a kiddo who may like fried rice, or even an adult who doesn't want a huge meal, this was a great option. Their apps are good too, egg rolls, pot stickers, ahi tuna nachos (to die for).

I would consider lunches, which are sometimes a little cheaper. Consider the Plaza at MK or even going to the Wave. We had lunch at the Wave last week, and it was great. It was also the cheapest TS meal we had the entire time we were there. Via Napoli is good as you can share a pizza, 50's Prime Time or Mama Melrose is good at DHS. I really like Yak and Yeti and found it reasonable by WDW standards at AK.

Don't underestimate CS meals too. We only did four TS meals when we were there last week. We had only booked 3 but decided to do the Wave the day of. We were still able to take a break and get off our feet at CS meals. You just need a place to rest and some A/C.

Lunch at Kona Cafe, breakfasts at a TS, Via Napoli, Captain's Grille breakfast or lunch, the Plaza
