Budget rental was awesome!!

Dropped family at port and was back in the terminal in less than 30 minutes.

At the end of the cruise we were off the ship and to the Budget office in just over 30 min. This included time to check in luggage at Usair for flight home.

Did you need to pre-arrange with Budget to pick you up at the port or did they have a shuttle there as a matter of course.

We used Budget to go to the port...it was research for my cruise line planner, so we didn't use them to return to Orlando. But when we went to meet our towncar, the Budget shuttle was sitting there. No one was on it, so I got the impression they are there as a matter of course.
And our rental experience was very smooth. We were upgraded to a Ford Taurus and the drop-off and shuttle to the port was quick and painless. The wait was no more than a few minutes while they switched shuttle drivers. I prefer a towncar, but if you're driving, I would definitely recommend them. We got a great one-way rate via the one-way link on Hotwire.
