Budget Rent A Car at Pt. Canaveral

Hello Disney Cruisers.

Has anyone rented a car from Budget Rent A Car on Astronaut Blvd / Cape Canaveral? If so, how did you get to Budget once you got off the ship? Our plan is to rent a car from Budget and drive back to the airport, stopping at Downtown Disney on the way.

I believe they have a shuttle that u can catch a ride on after the cruise to get the car......

They do have a shuttle that goes back and forth from the outer parking (under the white tent) to the Budget location. We have found long lines to wait for the shuttle so we just hopped a cab from the same area......it cost us only $8.00 for the cab from port to budget location.

The line for the Budget shuttle is usually not nearly as bad as Avis. When we disembark, we almost always see a Budget shuttle waiting at the pickup area. Avis seems to be the most crowded, with Budget second and Hertz a distant third.

We also are renting a car from Budget when we return from our cruise. We were told to call them before boarding the ship and tell them what time we would be disembarking. They would have the car waiting for us and would then take us back to their office to sign the papers. The phone number to call them is 321-784-0634. Hope this helps.
