Oh, it's been about 3 years, but when we went there was a Disney Outlet store in Pigeon Forge. Does anyone know if it is still there?

Oh, yes! It is still there!

We stayed in a Cabin through Cabinfevervacations.com our cabin was literally right up the road from the parks. We did two days in each park, Dollywood and her waterpark. We went last week in August and there was NO lines, we literally walked right on rides and sometimes they let us go around a couple times without getting off. I hadn't been there since a little girl and it was fun to share it with my kids. My kids LOVED it and have asked to go again. When at our cabin it was so relaxing we either swam or played some pool, it was just so relaxing and then at night we drove into town we loved Gatlinburg much better than Pigeon Forge, it's changed so much over the years they used to have it where you could walk up and down the streets and hear music and shop now it's all built up. We did however go to the Dixie Stampede and I have never seen my kids (7,4, 2) sit down for a meal, they were actually glued to their seats! it was alot of fun! We also did the Ripley Aquarium which was really cool and definitely take a ride through the Smokies make sure to stop at the top there is some nice history to learn about there and a hike you can take, good place to also take pictures. Take a ride through Cades Cove you will love the animal life. Enjoy your time it's very relaxing!

Forgot to add we also took the kids up in a helicopter for their first time and let my 4 yr old sit up front cause he loves helicopters they thought it was the BEST! (Just another idea)

We are going this year as well, over July 4th for a week. Our family alternates this with WDW every year and love both for different reasons. Any of you been to Debbie Reynolds' new Hollywood Museum? It's been built since we were there 2 years ago and I am really an old movie buff--can't wait to see what she has; I've heard her collection is really magnificent. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
