Budget Friendly Table Service

Are reservations required at Wolfgang Puck Express? This is in Disney Springs, right?
No reservations required! you walk up, place your order, they give you a number...you find a table....they bring your food to your table on real plates. Its quite lovely! Food is to die for. Yes its in disney springs. :) Close to the lego store and Earl of Sandwich. WGPE is one of my faves and a must do each trip.

Trail's End is a good deal for a buffet. And you're close to Chip and Dale bonfire!

Thanks for the info. Hope to try it!

Eat your main meal at lunch time. Many restaurants have lower prices at lunch for the same food, for example, Biergarten, the buffet in Germany, and many restaurants offer HUGE portions (Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time Cafe) so that an entree can easily be shared between 2 people.

This is not so much the case anymore... Disney has been making a move to standardize menu and pricing across lunch and dinner. Any of the remaining ones are exceptions and not the rule anymore.

Sci Fi is pretty reasonable in my opinion, not much more than many CS places (matter of fact, it's about the same price as WPE). Not sure if the 8 month old would be fine there, but I'm sure they have high chairs (or if baby is sleeping in the stroller, it's nice and dark and they MAY let you keep baby in stroller then). We enjoy the coolness of the dark room (it always feels cooler in there than many other places), and their sandwiches are quite large (enough for many folks to share). Yummy onion rings!

It wouldn't seem like a budget friendly venue but the Boathouse, especially at lunch, has a great menu with items ranging from 14 to 20 dollars. I got their calm strip meal and it was 16 dollars, and so much food.

Loving the kona suggestion. We're staying at Shades of Green which is a walk over to the polynesian. I think it's going to make the list.
We loved SOG buffet, it was inexpensive AND tasty. it's been awhile since we stayed there though. (6 years)
And of course, you don't want every dinner there.
But, they offered a great deal for a great price. Good savings!
