Budget friendly dining ideas

This is the first time traveling with 3 DS and sometimes they get a little cranky at TS restaurants (sometimes DH too). We are staying at RPR in Universal and looking for some alternative dining options . Both budget friendly and not TS to avoid the dreaded vacation meltdown I thought of rot. chicken from Costco, Giordano's pizza to go--any other good ideas?

Cici's Pizza is generally good. They are a pizza buffet with salad and dessert for about $5 per person. Highly affordable.

Roast beef, ham, turkey subs with chips and cookies,

We enjoyed Sweet Tomatoes. Our kids love buffets because they don't need to sit still. DH and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price, especially after having eaten at a Disney buffet the night before.

I think Costco is fairly far from Universal to hop over there for a chicken. Another grocery store may have them.

Will you have a kitchen or will you need prepared foods?

My kids loved Sweet Tomatoes and typically you can print off a coupon or two before you go.

My kids also love Friendly's.
