car rentals are crazy high for our trip for 2/21 to 2/27. I booked a rental with Budget a few weeks ago when it was $225 all in. We almost always go with Alamo and haven't gone with Budget since 2017. My husband is a Fast Break member. Is there anyway to skip the counter? Not sure how Budget works now?
Budget Fastbreak has worked for us the last two rentals - paperwork was ready in the garage for our arrival. One caveat - our most recent rental involved a very late flight arrival 7+ hrs. Our paperwork was ready, but the assigned car was not in the space. I found an employee who directed me to a recently serviced vehicle and sent me along. Short version, I had trouble in the return process - system thought I had other car, and as of this morning I was hit for toll charges from the original car as well. So keep track of everything. You will likely be fine. However, Budget is understaffed and overtaxed in MCO IMHO. And I told them as much on the survey.
With that said I have rented with Budget numerous times with no problem and they are working amiably with me on the recent issues.
