Budget candy and etc for stockings?

Hi! Just wondering if anyone knows of any great budget/sales on candy or other stuff for filling stockings?

I usually buy candy from Dollar Tree to fill up the candy jar at the office. They usually have a pretty good variety, especially around the holidays. Haven't gone since Halloween, but I picked up bags of Tootsie Rolls and Sweet Tarts for our Trick or Treat bowl.

Dollar store is where I'll pick up a few candy items for the kids.

I'll be picking up some at the Dollar Tree and Walmart. However we picked up a bunch (non holiday wrapping) on clearance at Walmart the day after Halloween for .30$ a bag.

We went to WW yesterday and I walked down the x-mas asle.I was surprise that the life save storybooks (has several lifesaver rolls in it) are $3 each. The also have a starburst book( just several indivual wrap candies) $3 each. First thing dh said were going to $1 tree for that stuff lol!
