Hi
I am looking for help with any ideas for a bridal shower for my sister. I have decided on a "naughty or nice" theme where guests can bring either a "nice" gift from the registry or "naughty" gift- lingerie, gag gifts, etc.
Its a small wedding, we are not having a bachelorette party, so I wanted to bring a little fun into the shower. It will be later in the afternoon, more of a cocktail party. I am saving money by having it at home, but I am looking to ideas for games, decorations, favors, etc.
Everything will be decorated in pink and black.
Also, I was looking to see if I could find cheap fresh wholesale flowers, maybe pink gerbera daisies or something similar. Anybody have any experience with wholesale flowers?

Thanks for any help!

If it's more of a cocktail party perhaps a game where the guests "invent" drinks based on the Bride and Groom theme (lemonade (sweet like bride) and vodka (strong like groom)) and then you all vote on the best one.

Everyone always likes the questionnares where you pre-make quizzes about the bride and groom and people have to answer. It helps with mingleing too b/c the brides friends have to ask the groom's for answers.

Balloons (pink and black) you can get cheap at Party City or the likes. Just get a bunch of regular latex ones. You can always write on them with marker to personalize them.

Make up some Mad Libs about the bride and groom's wedding nght.

[name of bride] told her new husband she was going to go put on her [adjective] lingere, but [name of groom] was more interested in seeing her [body part] naked.

More whitty, though, and make some that can go either way. I am not very creative right now.

One cute game that I have seen before is so funny...someone writes down everything that the bride says when she opens a gift (i.e. "oooh, I like that" or "that is so nice" or "what am I going to do with that?" etc.) and when the gift opening is over, read the list & preface it by saying that these are things the bride will say on her wedding night. Funny for everyone!

There's kind of cute game where you have someone write down the first thing the bride says when she opens each of her gifts.

Then, after the gift opening, have someone read all of her commens as "Things [Bride] will say on her wedding night". Her perfectly innocent comments become a bit naughty when you change the context (i.e. "Ooh, I've always wanted one of these!")

I know I've seen some cute bridge/grrom things at Party city, Card Party Even Walmart and Target have some cute things. `

I went to a bridal shower where someone's gift was a little "story" using household items. Like a broom, cleaners, household stuff. There were 2 stories where the items were used in the story. One story was "nice" and one was "naughty". I wish I knew the stories, but I think they got the idea from the internet. So maybe you can find them. It was really cute. Plus the bride and groom had a lot of great household items to start their new house.

A cute gift idea might be a cutting board with a handle on it. If the bride is nice it's for cutting cheese on, if the bride is naughty - well....

We do this at bridal showers (unless it will offend Grandma!) and it is SO hilarious. I had to read the answers back to the group once or twice & could barely contain myself I was laughing so hard! It can very risque - so it sounds like it would fit right in.

I love that idea.

What about having a "slumber party" or "fun party" the bride can be the host and will get some free stuff and everyone else wanting to buy something will also have some fun things to take home.

At all my family's bridal showers my Aunt makes a "mop" bride and a "groom" broom serves as a cute cheap decoration and also gift for the bride. She uses constrution paper for the faces on the bride wraps a towel around for the arms and chest have the arms hold a little boquet of flowers adds a veil to the mop hair For the groom black tux out of constution paper and a black top hat.

I'm not sure if this is the type of thing you're looking for or not, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

I used this company for our wedding guestbook and they were a huge hit and a lot of fun. People really put a lot of work into them, and it wasn't very expensive.

They have a Wedding Shower Guestbook that might be appropriate for what you're thinking about:

Good luck!

We just had my sisters shower at the end of March with a similar theme. I don't know about flowers (we got ours at Sams club pretty cheap) but one thing we did that I have never seen before is in place of a wishing well we had everyone bring a thong (its all my sister wears). We had a place for them all to be hung up and it looked great and everyone had a fun time buying them (even grandma!) and we had a contest about which one was the cutest, wildest, frilliest and one that was my sisters fave. The winner got a thong made from the candy necklaces (we got it at spencers)

I love the idea of the thongs instead of a wishing well gift!! I am definately going to do this!
I have found some pretty cute games online, but keep the ideas conming, they are all great! I love to hear what went over well at other showers.

I ordered a sample of this really cute corset sachet favor to try to see if I can make them myself. They cost 6.95 each, which I definately cannot afford! :scared1:

The thong contest is cute!

As for wholesale flowers, try Produce Junction. I get all my flowers inexpensively there.

Found the perfect cocktail. My sister love raspberry vodka... I am sure we will be making a lot of these :upsidedow

Pink Flirtini

1 oz. raspberry vodka
1/2 oz. Cointreau liquor
1/2 oz. pineapple juice
1/2 oz. cranberry juice
dash fresh lime juice
1 - 2 raspberries
