They are the Bath and Body version of a plug-in, but last longer and smell wonderful. Just be sure and wait for them to go on sale, because they can be pricey!
Another great item for those with EXTREMELY DRY skin is the Bath and Body Works, Spa Collection, "Lay it on Thick" Body cream. It is made with Shea Butter and is the BEST creme for dry skin I have ever used! It doesn't smell wonderful, but it will make my cracked and scaley elbows feel like silk after 1-2 applications. My friend recommended it, but it costs $20.00, so I balked! She bought me one in a trial size and it is worth every penny of the $20.00. I love it! :)

I whole-heartedly agree with the "Lay it on Thick". I've been using it for years for dry winter hands. I also love a spa product called Allpresan for dry skin. It's a foam mousse ($10.00 sold by my pedicurist), but it's the only thing DD9 will tolerate on her incredibly dry skin because it sinks in instantaneously and makes her skin and my feet like silk. It's imported from Europe or Canada, so it's hard to find.

I second the lavender-vanilla Downy fabric softener and the Magic Eraser.

I also love Bare Escentuals foundations and finishing powders - they give me flawless skin. Mineral Essense is almost as good too.

My Favorite Things:

Whipped Body Frostings and Wax Tarts from Skindazzles.com
Diet Coke with Splenda
Microfleece Pullovers from Lands End
Those Fuzzy Socks (although I don't recommend wearing them to work like this one lady does at my job! Dorky!)
Hooter's Chicken Wings
Cases of Fruit20
Candies Jeans (I buy mine in the Junior Dept at Kohls. They are the perfect length and fit on my 5'5" body! BTW...I'm 21 so I can still shop in Jrs. It's embarassing to see some of the 30 year olds in there though!)

:cool1: I don't like to shop in the juniors dept for my 13yr old unless she is with me. I've seen women shopping for themselves in that department - and they probably should have been across the aisle in the "misses" department. Getting "older" is difficult for most of the women I know. Grabbing at youth by dressing younger can happen to the best of us. I always ask my daughter and her friends for a reality check on things I pick out and I NEVER shop for my clothes in the junior departments

I forgot to add - I LOVE Victoria's Secret IPEX bras!! Best invention ever and the full coverage ones with the wide straps are oh so comfy!

I love this thread and had a few more to add.....
Calgon Morning Glory body spray - smells just as good as B&B for so much less $$$$ stays with me all day. (Hawaiin Ginger is good too, but the best is Morning Glory)
Lancome Dual Finish Powder foundation, makes skin look FLAWLESS!!! :p

BTW - My Mother-in-Law (52) shops in the junior section - now that is just wrong on so many levels....

Sephora stores sell it, but I don't have one close by so I've ordered it from both QVC and a website called Bare Makeup.com. I believe Bare Escentuals also has it's own website, but I've found it to be pricier than QVC or Bare Makeup. I don't know the prices at Sephora.

Bare Escentuals is at Sephora, QVC and all over ebay. I was in Las Vegas earlier this fall and while DH was playing in a poker tournament one morning, I went to Sephora and played! I had heard about Bare Escentuals but didn't want to plunk down my $$ until I had seen/tried it in person. I am now hooked! I purchased a starter kit at Sephora, with 2 different shades of the foundation powder, Warmth and Mineral Veil. I am using the lighter shade now, but a mix of the 2 will be perfect next summer as I get a bit of a tan. it came with brushes and a instructional DVD, which was helpful as I'd never used powder foundation before.

DH noticed a difference, I got a "wow your makeup looks really good" and "I like this better than whatever you were using before".

I hope they sell flamesuits in the juniors departments for you- where do you think the desparate housewives shop- you know they don't sell those clothes in the misses department and those chicks are at least 40 (except Eva)
BTW- I am just kidding- but there are lots of sexy, JUNIOR clothes worthy- 30somethings out there (myself NOT included!)

Had to add my favorite things in the TV category
Survivor (especially Tribal Council Surprises)
Seinfeld Reruns
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM on DVD

Ok, I admit it. I am a 30 something mom who bought pants in the jr department. Now admitidly I was shopping with my 14 year old niece and tried some one for something to do while I was waiting for her. However I was really please how the shorts fit so I got a few pairs. I am a short person myself and the long ones make me look even shorter. Besides I have nice legs :cheer2:

I love old navy blue jeans. (low rise, boot cut, short.)

Anything jjill.

T.V. Grays anatomy. :teeth:

Body Butter moisturizer from Basin.
(Downtown Disney or Basin.com)
I have extremely dry skin and this creme improves dry patches within a day!

Forgot to add....Desperate Housewives! And with that, I love my TIVO!
Also....I'm a southerner and can't live without my sweetened iced tea either....

And, my computer! DSL rules!
