Has anyone purchased the Apples from QVC that were mentioned earlier in the thread (candy covered)?

WE had our first family trip to Disney 2 weeks ago. On our last day we went to Downtown Disney..over on the 'left' side where.....shoot..I forget the name..the candy shop with the Witches Cauldron? Where you can pick out your own dipped apple?

We popped in..noone was there...my youngest wanted one...I told him as soon as we found the others in our party. Took longer than I thought..and when we went back to get him one....the line was out the door..and it was not moving.

And needless to say..we needed to return the rental car and catch our flight.... DS was so sad!

Soooo..I'm thinking that this would be a great little Christmas present for him (and his brothers) to find on Christmas Morning. Do you think if I had the 12/19 delivery that they would still be good for Christmas?

Never had any before and not sure how long they last..or if they are any good.

Thanks so much :-))

Yes, I have bought them from QVC. They are very good, but not as good as if you buy the ones at Macy's or Neimans, although kids may like the QVC ones better. I bought two sets of these last year from QVC and my kids loved them. QVC may be better for kids since they have M&M's, Cookies & Creme etc.. The ones on QVC are smaller than the department stores which again may be better for kids. I am still debating if I should order these myself.

You have to refrigerate them and they should last at least a couple weeks. If I were you I would order them.

I like the Glade scented candles every bit as much as Yankee candles and they are $1.99 each.
Ditto Love them!! I always stock up after xmas when they are 1/2 price!!

Thanks everyone for your lists. I'm having so much fun reading through them and making mental notes of new things to try in 2006.

Here are a few more things I forgot to put in my original post...

The Roll Buddy--Little clips that hold your wrapping paper in place and keep the rolls from unrolling. I found these in the Target Christmas section last year and they keep wrappping paper rolls tidy and neat. They were around $1.50 for 3 clips.

TGI Friday's Frozen Spinach and Artichoke Dip--a Sunday night tradition for me and very yummy.

My kids love the Laughing Cow Mini Bells and their Creamy Swiss Spread--We've had coupons for these so far and our Kroger doubles them so it makes a nice snack.

Keep your lists coming.

I'm trying not to be influenced by all the replies (but yeah, I did try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and they're a current Favorite Thing!)

Maple syrup and half-and-half in my tea every morning.

Orange tea and coconut tea from the Twinings shop in Epcot.

A Hershey bar a few times a week.

Style & Co. petite slacks (*exactly* the right length off-the-rack).

Clarks shoes.

Burts Bees lip gloss in Nutmeg.

Ginger lillies (just finished blooming for the season--bloomed from July through November! My favorite scent in the world.)

The 4-inch memory foam mattress topper on my bed.

My 1998 Nissan minivan (I just love this oldish car and will be so sad when it's time to buy a new one.)

Hot chocolate with whipped cream (can you tell I have a sweet tooth?? :earsgirl: )

I love the 7-11 cappachinos (sp)! My favorite is the Pumpkin spice! I bet they are loaded with calories, but they are so worth it. I've never tried this from Starbucks, so maybe I'm just deprived....

Swiss Miss French Vanilla hot chocolate
Yankee Candle's Holiday Sage and Autumn Wreath scents
Dave Ramsey's TMM
My new list of frugal websites and sites for codes thanks to the budget board! :cool1:
Coin jar
Reynolds Release aluminum foil
Starbucks Mocha Frappucino (in the bottles at the grocery store)

coconut tea?? That sounds yummy!!!

can i just say that the TGIF spinach dip is awesome!!! I bought it a couple of weeks ago for a party and it was gone as soon as I put it out :)

Another fave-
Crabtree and Evelyn Savannah Gardens bath set (I love that smell)

Here's my list off the top of my head.

mr. clean eraser
cooks illustrated magazines (it's expensive but so many of my fav recipes are from here)
my hp printer (prints on my 12x12 scrapbooking paper)
disney vacations
mac lipsticks
my velour pants from Target for $12 (wear them all the time)
disboards for all the great finds!

i'm sure there is more once i start thinking about this.

A few of mine..............

Yankee Candle Co. tarts - never tried them before hearing about them on the DIS

Those warm fuzzy socks - they keep your feel soooooooo warm.

Home made, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!!!

Glad Press n'Seal wrap. Sooooo much better than fighting with the cling wrap that stuck to everything but the bowl!

And along those same lines, the not-so-new Ziploc & Glad storage containers.

Disposable crock-pot liners.
Love 'em! No more soaking the crock to remove 8 hours of cooked-on residue. Last night I made a crock-pot meatloaf and cleaned the pot in 10 seconds flat. A joy!
