I always get the kids a board game (older teens) to play Christmas afternoon. Any suggestions? We have Scattergories & Apples to Apples. Thanks!

My family got the monopoly with the "credit cards" :) it's alot of fun to play with those and I enjoy that game! :)

Sequence is fun and it's under $20. We like Yahtzee, too. Pictionary is fun but I don't know how budget friendly it is.

How about some card games? They are budget friendly. Skip-Bo (if you don't already have it) is good. Mille Bornes is a card game I ordered from a catalog last year. My dh used to play it with his family and now we all enjoy it. This year, Target is selling it for under $6.00.

Quiddler is lots of fun! We also enjoy Yahtzee, Set, and our newest favorite, Bananagrams - abut $14 at Target.

We love sequence it our house!! We play it every year when we're all on christmas vacation. cant go wrong with this one! :thumbsup2

One more vote for Sequence. Friends of ours turned us onto it, and we have since shared it with the extended family ! :thumbsup2

Phase 10 is a favorite in our house (cards). Also Skip-Bo (another card game).

Also, consider a set of Mexican train dominos. Very fun!

Another one that is fun is good old Tiddlywinks, because it's an action game. (Dumb name, but fun.) You can make up lots of combat variations, and you can usually get it dirt cheap.
