Budget Airport parking in Boston?

Can you tell me how long of a ride this place is to the airport? Do they have 24 hour shuttles? Is it valet or do I take my keys?

Because of construction to the Chelsea St Bridge the 24 hour shuttles may take a little longer than usual to get to the terminals but unless there is very bad traffic it doesn't take half an hour. They do have valet parking if you want it-I always take my keys.
One more thing abou the construction. Do NOT follow the detour signs, they will take you so far out of the way you'll think you're going to end up in the next state. Use AAA's triptik and play around with the route. You'll find the right way to the alternate bridge much quicker. Hopefully the Chelsea bridge will be open when you need it.

I don't know if anyone ever checked but I almost always see a reduced parking voucher on my eticked for parking at logan.

we used buyreservations .com to book a hotel last time. I think it was about $160 but we had an early morning flight so it was worth it.
I believe we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Revere.

Thanks for the tip, which airline do you use?

I try to stick with Jetblue. I like there flight schedule, and 1 bag rule. I find that if you buy your ticket far enough out its about the same as flying with anyone else.

I noticed your from southeastern Ma have you considered flying out of tfGreen If its not to far you may try to compare prices.

We try to fly out of Providence whenever possible. Flights and parking are usually cheaper and it's a whole lot less hassle overall.

I go through all the options every time also. This year we *almost* flew out of Logan but wound up getting a good deal out of PVD, so we bagged it. But what we were planning to do was to take the water shuttle out of Quincy, by the USS Salem. Cost was either about the same or a little higher as the East Boston lot we usually use, but instead of going north, then south, and dealing with expressway traffic, it made a lot more sense to just take a direct route across the harbor. Something to look into. I don't remember what times the boats run but they go pretty late, and go through all kinds of weather, from what I was told there.

we fly out of PVD all the time too. We fly primarily on Southwest and they have a ton of direct, nonstop flights to MCO unlike Southwest out of Logan where they have no direct, nonstops to MCO(at least they didn't last time I checked).

I love, love, love PVD airport! So easy to get in and out of. It is about an hour drive for us, where Logan is about a 30 minute drive (without traffic) but I find I would rather drive an hour to PVD than to Logan any day. We use Preflight parking at PVD also....great prices and very convenient.

But....if I HAD to fly out of Logan, I would definitely use the Harbor Express boat out of Quincy. We are about 5 minutes from the boat launch so it's pretty convenient...parking is cheap, kids under 11 are free, and the ride over to the airport is very nice. Much better than dealing with traffic on the expressway!

This one is for any North shore people - we have flown out of Manchester NH a few times. Southwest has direct flights to MCO and the ease of getting there can't be matched for us, no traffic issues, smaller airport, much cheaper parking- $10 per day for long term parking.

We are actually leaving in 3 weeks from Manchester, I was able to get tickets for $79 each way during one of SW early summer sales.

For our trip this summer, we got a young relative to take us in our own car. He is a recent college graduate who doesn't have a "career" type of job yet, so we offered him $100 to take us round-trip. The kids could still use their own car seats, we saved about $75 vs a limo service, and it was $100 in cash for a young person. Win, win, win.

It wont help on this trip because you already have tickets... but when I used to live in Boston I found that it was usually cheaper to drive to Providence and fly out of there than Logan... cheaper flights, cheaper parking and much easier airport to get around.

It's the only place we usually fly out of. SW was too high when we were searching so we're dealing with Logan sadly.

A friend who lives in the next town over told me they used a shuttle service/town car a couple years back and it was only $120 round trip for their family of 4 plus tip. I plan to call the same company for a quote. If we can get it for that price I think the extra $30 might be worth not having to drive ourselves or park , etc.
