Buckeyes or Gators?

I'm a firm believer in the SEC being the best conference, so I"m mainly hoping Gators win so I can quit hearing constantly how great the Big 10 is.

Here in SWFL we live and breathe the SEC.

If that was truly the case, how can you explain the fact that this year, which for all accounts was a poor one for the Big 10, the two head-to-head matchups in bowl games have both gone to the Big 10 team?

Thanks! My DD and booked into a hotel saturday to swim and play, and instead we stayed in the room and watched the re-broadcast !

On Sunday I bumped into Tia (luvsDsny) at the mall, so I will register her vote for the gators!

I'm a firm believer that both conferences are about as evenly matched as it gets, and I'm tired of hearing boosters and parochial types from both conferences naffing on about their conference being better.

It's all a bit of a wank really. Here's hoping for a good game and win to the Gators (oh.... that hurts to say for a Dawg fan!).

OSU - 14

OSU has all of 7 points on offense. Who was it that said their offense was over-rated and hadn't played a defense as good as Florida's? Oh yeah... me.

Who was it that said that OSU has played a comparitavely weak schedule and is over-rated because of it, while Florida has played a tougher schedule and is under-rated in spite of it? Oh yeah... me.


It is a shame I am not a Florida fan - I could be enjoying this more...

This just proves that Florida State is the 2nd best team in the country this season, lol... (We beat UCLA, who beat USC, who beat Michigan, and lost by 7 to Florida... hence, FSU should be ranked #2... hahaha... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight)

Seriously, the way OSU is playing, we would have beat them. Besides, we only lost to UF by a touchdown, while OSU is getting their butts handed to them.

The Big 10 and Ohio State are completely overrated.

Seriously, I had to stop watching. I jinx them whenever I watch. I saw the kick-off, and the buckeyes scored. Ugh. Now I just have it on in the background which doesn't seem to be effecting the karma negatively or anything.

I want it to be known that my Iowa Hawkeyes are in the Big Ten, but I am rooting for the Florida Gators. In other words...anyone but the Buckeyes. Go Gators!

IMHO, there was too much time since both teams last played. I would like to see NCAA go back to before BCS when the national championship was determined January 1. But then again I am from Iowa and we hate change.
