Hey, that's a good point!!! Maybe the guy didn't know that Saturday is the Jewish Sabath so he just figured it meant Sunday? Geez...doesn't seem like the best repairman on the block!

We've had the oven for over 4years

But it was a Sunday that it didn't work I am planning a write up in my monthly "tongue in cheek" newsletter at work " Due to having a Jewish Oven only top of the stove, sandwiches or grilled meals on the weekends , both days as I am not sure which day the oven thinks is the Sabboth!!!"

He said "It's set on the Sabboth" I looked at him and thiought FUNNY Guy so your saying we shouldn't cook on Sundays Obviously he was not being a comedian ...... He said the oven was set on the SABBATH, for jewish sects that do not cook on the sabbath!!Okay but why do we have a Jewish Oven I ask Stiil the straight face he proceeds to tell us how certain jewish sects have their ovens set so they cannot be turned on on the sabbothStill no comment on why we have one

When I called my boss she about fell outta the chair laughing , this guy was serious ... it is a jewish oven Have ya ever heard of this before !! Everyone I tell thinks I am making it up I have a feeling this is gonna be the joke of the year for the whole agency !!!

I received a sad call from Carol, her Mom is back in the hospital, with a brain bleed !!Carol called and asked for our Dis family to pray fer them, we were both alittle chokesd up, she said she was expecting it as her Mom had a BAD headache all day yesterday, which she had told me last night , but she added it didn't make it any easier !!Her platelets as of yesterday were 1 , which is very very low !!
So please kepp Carol and her mom in your prayers Thanks

Spoke to Carol just a minute ago !!Her Mom is home and going daily for platelets , they are still not up and she still has the horrendous headachre . but no new bleeds found !!

I just talked toPeople and Places today and they asked if you would give me some tips for Chicago , such as hotels and places to eat!! They usually stay in decnent but not overly pricey places that have a breakfast included . Restaurants not pricey but definately not the fsty food type and not to fancy menus ! I said they could count on you

Just giving this a bump !!I am sorta at a standstill for the ptr till I get more info from People and Places and see how Carol's Mom is as she is using a lot of time off and so will maybe not be able to do all the trips !!

That would be too bad if she can't go on all the trips with you. The two of you probably have everything going smoothly....well, other than forgetting the poor blind folks on the sidewalk.
