DF and I decided that we liked the idea of the signature photo frame for our guests to sign for us but DF didnt want just the basic matted photo. Searching online he found this:

My brother actually ordered it for us as a christmas gift but had to tell us since we were ready to order it! It came in already but its at my mom's in florida!

We are also having a guest book. We found a matching set really cheap that has a carriage design with matching toasting flutes, pen, guestbook, and knife set. I will post a pic of that soon from home. Cant access photobucket from work. clearly productive this evening! haha

So we picked out our wedding bands! The little jewelry store that he got my engagement ring at gave us a great deal! More traditional bands i have a plain gold band to match my solitare. He wanted either titanium or tungsten but i wanted yellow gold to be able to match mine! We settled on these ones!

These are actually from the website and the gold on his rings are more of a rope then squares. We already gave them to his folks to hold for us.

So originally we were just planning on going with Disney for photography. i wanted both picture and video. Once I saw Disney's pricing I was shocked! Then to not get the rights to your pics?! but it wasnt til on the boards that i read so many great things about other area photographers! Not being in florida if i didnt have the feedback i've found here I dont think I would have been comfortable with anyone else!
So we finally decided on Randy Chapman! Love him! He was so prompt at returning my emails and giving me a call. He is very personable and just awesome! Soo looking forward to working with him. We are going to do e-shoots in August when we do our planning session with Disney. I just need to send in his deposit now heehee!

We just got our e-photos back from Randy and he is amazing! He sent us 4 DVDs full of photos!! You are going to love him!

We got the ok from future In laws for rehearsal Dinner at Raglan Road in the private Dining Room! Yay! Stress relief!

Wow So i have been MIA for a while! Happy New Year everyone! A lot has happened since then! Our LOA was due on my birthday, Jan 12! Disney had already posted the deposit! It was a good birthday! on the 14th we were exactly one year out!
DF and I were able to complete the STDs and we took them to the post office last week as well! Sorry the pic is a little blurry! I think they turned out cute with the key cards! We put a magnet on the back so they can put it on the fridge!

Thought I'd share pics of our engagement announcements we sent out last march/April since we had such a long engagement. We included a formal portrait we had taken on a cruise we were on right after he popped the question!

Wow... So I dont know where February went! Just a short update!
Contract is signed sealed delivered! We have been assigned to our planner! So far everything is progressing smoothly! We have a short trip booked this summer in July.. ugh in the heat! But we are doing an engagement session with Randy and having our planning session and menu tasting!
We are bringing the future in laws for their first trip to Disney! We are going to hotel hop, go to dinner at Raglan Rd, where the rehearsal will be held and just see the property. We are saving the parks til more mild weather in January!

Well I need to update this with all the changes! Soo excited! 317 Days! 10 months 10 days!

So wow, I wonder if other brides have the same waiting game with Disney... Booked and done and we did so much of the little favor stuff before we could contract I don't know what to do now!?! The Planning session is 81 days away... what do i do in the meantime?!?!

On the upside a few weeks ago my grandma took me to pick out a veil! I have dropped a size already in my dress! While at the Bridal shop i was able to try on the sample in one size down from the one I purchased and it was perfect! After being reassured that they will still be able to alter my dress to fit or switch the sizes out in time, I tried on about 20 veils! Short, long, fingertip, cathedral, embellished, plain and everything in between! It was fun but I truly had no idea what type i wanted when I went in! I ended up with a cathedral length one and a blusher. It looks great as a train since my dress doesn't have one! It has a pretty delicate crystal beading trim that actually matches the detailing on my dress! It was perfect! And my shoes worked out perfectly with the dress which made me even happier!

Friends and family are starting to make reservations now and it is making it all seem real!

So what to do about this hurry up and wait!?!?!!

Just joining in! Love your dress & shoes. Can't wait to see the veil you chose. Should be nice to have everything done already, less stress. The DIS makes me feel like I am very behind!

Thanks so much! Don't worry about feeling behind and I was the same way! There is a lot of "down time" i think with the Disney weddings! Its nice that everything is so streamlined and consolidated but sometimes i twiddle my thumbs and wish i could enjoy the stresses of research and planning a little more than not... sounds crazy! I just get to help a good friend more with her stresses! haha

Hi there! I noticed you're a fellow January bride (I'll still be there for my honeymoon on your wedding day!!!!) and had to jump in.

I like everything so far! I totally agree, I feel like I should be doing SO much more--- and our PS is 115 days away! Blah!!! I keep telling myself to enjoy the process, because you only get to wait to get married once, right??
