Originally posted by Wonderlandmom It was in the 40's and windy here in North FL. I WISH it was the 60's. I hate the cold. At least it is not the 20's yet.
I think the central and south FL people are being sarcastic and rubbing it in when they say 60 is cold ! I hope they are not serious.
I was not being sarcastic nor was I rubbing it in.
People in Canada might say the same thing about WonderlandMom thinking it's cold when the temps are in the 40's!
I was sitting at my computer, in front of an open window, scanning some photos. The wind was blowing and you couldn't see the sun! There was NO sun until about 5:00!
After months and months of very hot sunny weather, it's a welcome change.
I was cold and I was serious.
Seriously.
It will be 30 here, with frost in a few short hours. Brrrr. Wonderlandmom has lived in much colder climates and does NOT like it ! That is why we returned to Sunny FL ! WHEN will March be here!!!
It was perfect today! Cool, breezy, and cloudy. Well, the cloudy I could do without. But DS and I said we want this weather ALL the time. Forget 90 plus degrees! Give us jeans and sweatshirt weather!! Only we don't wear the sweatshirts because we like the "coolness".
Didn't you know that the farther south you go in Florida, the thinner our blood gets and we get colder at warmer temperatures? It must be in the 60's today because my house is 71. IT'S GREAT! I remember the days when I lived in NJ. There would be snow piles outside and we would run from the school to our cars without any coats! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Now 60 degress means brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! LOL!
It was 45 degrees in Perrine this morning where I am. That is in the south end of Dade County. Needless to say I am freezing. Plus it is not helping my healing leg or my arthritis.
