Browsing DVC direct purchase Incentives

While browsing the incentives for DVC direct purchase, I noticed it goes up to 1000 points. Do people really buy a 1000 points in one go? If you have that kind of $$$$ why would you even bother with DVC?

Contracts of that size would normally be purchased by companies and corporations.

We own over 1000 points but in 26 contracts at 6 different resorts.

Just assumed that most large amount owners purchased over time and never thought about company purchasing DVC ... interesting
