Hi everyone,

Is Brown Derby an adult type restaurant or are kids welcome? Is there a kids menu? I'd hate to ruin a meal for other diners by taking my 5 year old, but it was the only restaurant available with the Fantasmic package when we go to Disney. Thoughts?

Thanks!
Angie

Well, we are eating there for dinner with our 3 (ages 7 and 4) in July. I am assuming since it is Disney and inside a theme park there will be plenty of children present.

You'll be fine - and there will be plenty of other children there as well.

Here is a sampling from the kids menu (courtesy of allears.net)

Grilled Chicken Breast - with barbecue sauce, red potatoes, and green beans and carrots $5.99

Beef and Macaroni - Macaroni, ground beef, marinara and mozzarella with green beans and carrots $4.99

Grilled Cheese on Whole Wheat Bread with brown sugar apples $4.99

Tempura Grouper Strips with steamed broccoli and dipping sauce $6.99

Grilled All-Beef Hot Dog $4.99

We've been to the Brown Derby several times over the years with our kids. They have a pretty good kids menu. Maybe I'm wrong, but there seem to be more choices for kids than at some other places. We were just there last month. My youngest DS was a little tired during the meal though...
