You gotta love friends like Dawn! She comes around when you've been in bed for three days and you have no hairstyle going at all, takes your picture, and then puts it out there for the world to see!

When you do go over there, 'cuz I know you will, keep in mind that the thing in the blue shirt is not one of the cows. It may be hard to tell the difference.

You will see some sweet pictures, though, of Brooklynn, Bella, and Margot, and some other little kids having a party, so if you can close your eyes during that one picture (I will be thinking of ways to repay her kindness), it's worth going over there!

i'm gonna hurt you......you are beautiful! i knew i shouldn't even try to get you to pose for a picture so a candid it is. i'm sure all your adoring fans appreciate seeing a glimpse of the elusive memom.

Poor Brooklynn but in true kid fashion i'm sure she was fine soon afterwards. I have a similar fountain photo like yours, and after returning in October i'm sure i'll have more fountain pictures to pass of to you!

Poor Brooklyn I'm glad she quickly got over her boo boo. I wonder why she was walking sideways to begin with. Three year olds do the oddest, cutest, funniest things.

I want more Bella, too. I got to kiss all over her all of last weekend, and now it's been days and days since I've felt those soft, sweet little cheeks.

Sometimes grown-ups walk sideways, too, but we would just get hit in the side by those bars. Her face was just the right height, unfortunately.

poor little brooklynn!!!!! as my grandmother would say, "that bar just jumped right out and hit her in the face!" glad to see it wasn't too horrible. not looking where we're going is the cause of many accidents in my family, the worst being once when brooke was about 5 and running through the soccer field parking lot. she was talking to a friend and ran right into a 2x4 sticking off the back of a truck. she insisted she play in the game afterwards and by halftime the knot on the side of her face was about the size of a golfball. we made her quit playing and took her to the ER because it was right on her temple and my dad was afraid it could be serious. it looked awful! oh, the things kids do.....something to look forward to, i guess!

You will have many scrapes and bruises with yours in the years ahead. I think you've had some good experience with Brooke and Brett, though, so you'll take it all in stride.

Oh, I just love Bella's nemo outfit!!! Its so cute!! Hollie had a cute little nemo outfit when she was 1 that had a matching hat! It was always so cute on her!!

She just had the little bruise the rest of the week, and it went through the many colors - purple, yellow, etc. - that bruises do.

Bless her heart, that looks like it had to hurt! I'm so excited looking at all your Pop pics now that we'll be staying there in November!

I did okay yesterday one crutching it half the day and walking half the day. Today I went all day with no crutch, and I can feel it tonight. Pretty sore. If I can get through tomorrow, I'll rest a lot on Saturday.

Good Morning MeMom,

I was very far behind...11 or 12 pages!!! Thankfully, all caught up now. I am falling behind on my TR too!

I haven't been on here for the past several days. A childhood friend of mine got very sick last week and within a couple of days, he passed away. He was young and it was completely unexpected and has been a very sad time. They do not live very close (2 hours away) so it has been a crazy, hectic, sad week.

Even though I haven't been on here, I have been thinking of you. I can't believe you are back to work already. I had no idea you would head back so soon. I hope that you get good news from the doc.

Bella must have a very easy going temperament. She always seems laid back...going with the flow. That is definitely a blessing!

I love Brooklynn's expression before she rode Soarin'. She looks so happy! That is wonderful that you got to ride with her the first time. My family loves Soarin'.
And then the poor unsuspecting girl is given Beverly ... You guys are cruel. Just kidding! I think everyone should get surprised with Beverly once. Hopefully it gets caught on film ... makes for some funny pictures.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. We never know when our last day will be, so it's nice to try to deal with people and act and react as if we were giving our last impressions.

The people who sit behind me at church just lost a 40 yr. old niece this week to kidney failure. She had a 14 year old daughter who now has no mom. I've been thinking of her a lot this week.

I just didn't want to use a bunch of sick days if I could hobble in the doors and sort of direct traffic from my stool and/or chair. I want to save my sick days for either getting money for them when I retire or using them for times when I want to take a mid-year vacation.

Brooklynn was happy before Soarin', but since she really didn't know what it was all about, other than seeing it on youtube, I think she was just happy because Jill and I were so happy!

Then, I couldn't stand on it, so I was holding myself up on the wall and washing my hair with one hand. It was not a great shower in the world of showers, but after having been down for a couple of days, you know how good any shower feels!

the saran wrap reminded me of when i was 4 and broke my arm. it was during the summer and i wanted to go swimming so dad wrapped a trash bag around my arm because i couldn't get the cast wet. i was in the pool with this ginormous trash bag wrapped around my arm and air kept getting in it so it looked like a big black balloon. not so fun!

Today is Trent's 25th birthday. He started his day by working, then went to his Friday morning Bible study, then worked some more, is working out tonight, and then going to grill out burgers and chicken with friends. I know I am his mom, but this is a kid to be very proud of for many different reasons. I know he'll never read this, because he doesn't get on here, but I just wanted to acknowledge his birthday with all of you, even though he's not a little fella any more.

Now that the stitches are out, the Saran Wrap and painter's tape have been laid to rest. I don't have to hold onto the wall any longer, so it's back to normal.

We do take things for granted. I never paid much attention to the side handle bar things in restrooms, but I have learned to appreciate them greatly over the last two weeks.

We've wrapped casts in trashbags around here a few times, too. Ah, the fun of parenting!

I can't believe you ever saw that! I wouldn't have thought you would have time to go all the way back and read everything. When you become a stay-at-home mom (I am so jealous!!!) you will have plenty of DIS time, but just coming off of vacation and getting back to work, I wouldn't have 'thunk' it!

Goofy's didn't used to have the party area. It's fairly new. They just moved a check-out area.

Bella just stares at people and things like they're crazy sometimes. It's funny! I would love to know what she is thinking inside that cute little head.

That was Brooklynn's first Beverly. We'll see if it is her last.

I was supposed to stay out until after I went to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon, but I went back on Monday with a crutch. Yesterday, I went with no crutch, but I could tell it last night and I can again this morning. Very sore, but I'll just have to keep working it out until I am back to normal. He said I would have 100% pain-free walking, but pretty much pain-free, so I'll be happy with what I can get.

I really enjoy it. It has the same games that are in the ride plus several others. There are different challenges and you have to get so many points to unlock the games in 3D.
