Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Awwww. Happy birthday! My DD is now five, but 3 was my favorite age. They start getting more independent, but they still want to be your baby. I loved it! Enjoy it!

:jumping1: Happy Birthday Brooklynn!!! Here's a little Pixie Dust to wish you a wonderful 3rd year: pixiedust:

It must be a really good day to have a birthday -- it is my aunt's birthday, my cousin's birthday, and now Brooklynn's birthday :cutie:

Happy birthday, Brooklynn! :bday: party:

I'll be thinking of you guys when I'm at my cousin's today celebrating her 17th!

I want them to be careful and completely happy, but I'm ready for that to be now. I'm becoming rather fond of having grandchildren!

Ha Ha!!! You sound just like my mom!!! :rotfl2: Have to say thanks for posting the pictures of the cute holloween bag from the Disney store... Was out doing some shopping for our trip yesterday and picked one up! :yay: I also found minnie ears! So excited, to wear them for MNSSHP.

Happy Birthday, Miss Brooklyn!!

Dinner at Red Robin. Endless fries. SO jealous!

Hope it's a great day for the whole family!! :)

I've lurked for far too long... Just wanted to say I'm enjoying your TR very much.

5100 Pictures?? I thought I was doing pretty good when my family went last October and I took 500 pictures...

:cake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLYN

Long time lurker here but I had to join in since I will be at WDW the same time as your October trip

It's probably not going to work, then, since we'll be on Magical Express going back to the airport when you are arriving.

That's too bad we would of loved to see you guys. I'm sure one day our trips will overlap again.

Also tell Brooklyn
Happy Birthday:cake::cake::rainbow:::MinnieMo:tinker::dumbo::butterfly:bday:party::bday: Hope she has a great one. 3 is such a cute age.

Three years ago today my little girl became a mommy, and Brooklynn entered our lives. It's been three years of fun and laughter mixed in with occasional whining and a few meltdowns, as with all children. She's such a bright little girl, and when she's not tired, she is personality plus. She will carry on an intelligent conversation with you if the surroundings are right. She will rarely forget anything you say, so if you don't mean it, don't say it! It is dangerous!

I love that little bundle of energy so much I can't even explain it. If you are a parent, you have a good idea of how much, and if you are a grandparent, you're probably shaking your head that you completely understand.

I thought I'd share a few pictures from our dinner last night.

We sat right behind Lady Liberty.

Brooklynns3rdBD001.jpg

What does your Disney brain think of when you see this?

Brooklynns3rdBD002.jpg

Two things come to my mind, so we'll share and compare.

Brooklynn checked out her three presents carefully.

Brooklynns3rdBD003.jpg

The food didn't take too long, and soon Brooklynn was eating her grilled cheese and cantaloupe.

Brooklynns3rdBD004.jpg

She does not say cantaloupe, however. It used to be 'candaloob', but now I think it has changed to 'candaloke'. Either way, she likes it.

My meal - teriyaki chicken with pineapple, tomato, lettuce, Swiss cheese. Very good.

Brooklynns3rdBD005.jpg

Jill's burger. She's a plain cheeseburger girl.

Brooklynns3rdBD006.jpg

John's some kind of burger with egg on it.

Brooklynns3rdBD007.jpg

Bella's present for her big sister was a Sleeping Beauty play set.

Brooklynns3rdBD008.jpg

Brooklynns3rdBD010.jpg

Brooklynns3rdBD012.jpg

In the pictures where she is looking up, there was a TV on.

While she was opening presents, Brooklynn was the recepient of a rousing round of Happy Birthday from the waitstaff and and ice cream sundae!

Brooklynns3rdBD013.jpg

She had wanted them to sing to her, but when they got there, she buried herself in Jill's arm.

Time for MeMom's present. She loves playing with the My Little Pony figures at Disney World, so she got a package full of three ponies and a thousand assorted things to adorn the horses and the living room floor.

Brooklynns3rdBD014.jpg

I had complete permission from her parents to get this. As a matter of fact, I kept the girls in WDW while they went and made the purchase, so there's no way they can be mad at me for this one.

Brooklynns3rdBD015.jpg

From Mommy and Daddy, there was a doctor kit.
Brooklynns3rdBD016.jpg

I suppose they figure if she grows up to be a doctor she can afford DVC pretty easily.

Bella just chilled in her carrier through the whole meal.

Brooklynns3rdBD017.jpg

It could have been the perfect birthday meal, but it was at a restaurant affiliated with 'that other place',

Brooklynns3rdBD018.jpg

so it was just a little shy of perfect.

Brooklynn was happy with her meal and her gifts. Here she is carrying some of her loot to the car.

Brooklynns3rdBD019.jpg

Back at home, Bella enjoyed her play seat.

Brooklynns3rdBD021.jpg

The pretty girls this morning before church.

Brooklynns3rdBD025.jpg

Brooklynns3rdBD026.jpg

Notice how Bella is holding her mouth. She has two teeth that have popped through on the bottom now.

Brooklynns3rdBD027.jpg

I am also happy to say we loaded many pictures, so we will get out of the airport soon. Be back shortly to make good on that!

Oh my, those two little girls are just precious. They always manage to put a smile on my face. :cutie: You are so lucky MeMom.

Brooklyn looks like she really enjoyed her birthday meal at Red Robin last night!!!

We don't have a Red Robin near us, but I sure wish we did after looking at your food pictures!

I love her striped orange dress that she wore this morning! Both girls are just a little dolls!

Welcome to our new readers! We are always glad to have new people along. We hope you enjoy sharing our trip and enjoying the fun of Disney World from your own homes.

When we last left, I believe someone (JILL) was making fun of her mother for taking so many pictures just of the airport. We shall ignore her snide remarks and travel onward! ;)

At the Orlando Airport, we made the now familiar route to Magical Express.

Not our bus, but the bus beside ours.

On our bus.

IMG_0042.jpg

You can barely see the magic arches, but they are there.

IMG_0043.jpg

And onto our home away from home - Pop Century Resort.

IMG_0044.jpg

Bella making her claim to fame - checking into a Disney resort before she was four months old. She has beaten us all with that move!

IMG_0045.jpg

Doesn't she have that 'Ha ha!' look on her face?!?!?

We had asked for a 60's building, since that decade is the only one we had not stayed in at some time before. We were given Building 4, home of the Play-Doh elephant and giraffe.

Brooklynn pointing out the word POP,

IMG_0046.jpg

and showing us our first stop.

IMG_0047.jpg

She got into her shopping groove quickly.

IMG_0048.jpg

Our first glimpse of the bright and happy Hippy Dippy Pool area.

IMG_0049.jpg

Signs, in case we needed them.

IMG_0050.jpg

Our building.

IMG_0052.jpg

Do you remember the giraffe I made at our Pop party? Doesn't he look exactly like that one? :)

The kiddie pool is where we waited for our call to come that the rooms were ready.

IMG_0053.jpg

IMG_0054.jpg

Above my head.

IMG_0055.jpg

Bella napped while we ate.

IMG_0059.jpg

IMG_0060.jpg

The call came that one of the rooms was ready, so we made our way up to the third floor back by the lake. When we got up there, the lady was finishing up the second room, so we were all set.

IMG_0061.jpg

My picture.

Their picture.

The traditional first bus stop picture.

IMG_0066.jpg

Jill, you are going to do a Table of Contents type thing on the first post, right? That way people like Scott can check in only on the parts they want to.

party:Happy Birthday Brooklynn!!! party:

Looks like you guys had a fun time last night! We have a Red Robin right near us and I love it. They have a burger there with pineapple on it that is SO good. I think it's called the Banzai Burger or something like that. John's burger with egg on it looked interesting! Did he like it?

Oh my, those two little girls are just precious. They always manage to put a smile on my face. :cutie: You are so lucky MeMom.

Very lucky, blessed, and humbled. I do not deserve the good things I have, but I am so very grateful for them!

We have one up here near our house now, too. The teriyaki chicken was very good. I like chicken and pineapple to start with. I'm eating a ham and pineapple pizza right now. It was so big, though. I made myself just about sick tryig to eat it all. I almost made it, but didn't finish the last little bit.

They were pretty cute this morning, weren't they? :cutie::cutie:

I think it's what he gets every time. I've seen Paula Deen do a burger with an egg on it. Sounds gross to me, but then again, I haven't tried it.
