5 DAYS TO GO!!!

Today's BAB is "Roxy" and she is wearing Aurora. She had to wait until the rain stopped to get her picture taken.

Yay for 5 more days!!! I am so excited for you guys! I just can't wait to see Bella's face when she see's Mickey, and Pooh, and Tigger, and Donald, and okay, all of the characters for the first time!!!!!!!

That came quickly. Well, at least the last couple of weeks anyway.

Checking in before I start scrambling eggs and frying bacon again this morning. The first full day of camp came with some drama, as workers who were doing some new construction hit an electric line that ran to the pool. No electricity = no pump = no swimming. They don't think it will be repaired until maybe Wednesday. You know that swimming is a big part of the fun of camp, so hopefully they will gave it going then. The campers were disappointed, of coure, but they did a waterslide instead yesterday afternoon and enjoyed walking up and sliding down the hill to the ballfield on a long, soap-filled plastic runner. It's huge - big enough for them to go side-by-side and race - so they had fun, but it is still not a pool.

So far the only injuries have been minor scrapes. A few have multi-colored finger tips because they didn't wear the gloves when they tie-dyed their shirts. No one has gotten homesick...yet.

Anyway, I know I am missing all of your good reports and pictures, and I may never catch up. I would spend time this weekend catching up, but I'm not going to be home. Maybe I can get caught up and at least scroll through pictures during the 2-3 times we get the internet while we're at Pop in the wee hours of the morning while I'm waiting for the sun to come up enough that I can go outside to walk. I may not be doing nearly as much of that walking stuff after this week, though. Being on my feet all day, loading stuff, standing on the concrete floor and cooking...it will have me ready to not be standing and walking so much next week. I am sorry that I am missing the good stuff you are showing and telling about your trips.

OH NOOOOO! NO pool! Such a shame! Glad they worked out a creative alternative, though! We used to do "slip and slides" back in the day.

Yeah, I know what it's like to off the boards for a few days, let alone more than a week. It's so hard to catch up!

CanadianWDWFan - Tell Lexi Brooklynn is really enjoying her build a bear pictures.

5 days to go!!!!!! This is the last week of work and it is only 4 days. Four long days since I am opening the school this morning and have a meeting until 7:00 or 7:30 tonight. Tuesday and Wednesday I close and then Thursday we are in training all day from 8:00-5:00. John has decided that since we didn't get in until late last night and this week is so busy for me he is going to take Friday off instead of working a half day. That way he can watch the girls while I finish up all the last minute stuff before we head to MeMom's. Today's picture is from last summer at our home away from home POP.

That is really sweet, and smart, of John to take Friday off. It will make that day much more bearable I'm sure. I'm always running around here, up and down the stairs, all over town, etc. It's exhausting! But worth it.

The pic of Brooklynn is so funny!!!

MeMom, that is a big bummer about no pool at camp! The slip and slide does sound like a very fun alternative though. No worries about catching up - you have good reason, and isn't it wonderful to say "I'm not going to be home this weekend" and know exactly why?

Good morning all! Only 4 days to go! That's right only 4 days!!!!!! John has taken the girls to school on his way to work. I close tonight so I don't have to be there until 8:30 so he is giving me about 45 minutes to get some stuff done without them before I have to get ready. I would really love to be in bed since Bella had a horrible night last night and was up for hours crying. I am attributing it to teeth and really hoping she doesn't do it on our trip because I would be a worthless zombie.

Only 4 days - wish I was coming with you. Our next WDW won't be till Sept 2010 but we have booked a trip to Disneyland Paris this Oct to keep us going - although we're telling everyone it's for DD who turns 2 in a couple of weeks
Being in the UK we visited DLP a few times before we headed off to WDW for our 2005 honeymoon. Since then we've always said it's nowhere near good enough value for money to go to DLP and that we wouldn't do it again and just save up the extra to take us to WDW instead. This will be the second time we've gone back on our word now - the first was during my first pregnancy (where I shopped for cute baby things!).
Getting excited for you and looking forward to picking up lots of ideas about taking 2 little girls to WDW!

Memom - please share your deviled egg recipe if you have time. I LOVE them and have made several times but I never put the right amount of stuff in it. Either too much mayo or too much mustard or not enough of something. My DH loves them with relish, but I prefer without!
