Good morning all! This will have to be quick since I have to get myself and both girl ready to leave for church in half an hour. Today's picture is from October. Brooklynn meeting her favorite princess of the moment - Ariel. Notice the shirt, necklace, and doll, she also had the purse and sunglasses from the previous day in the stroller. Even her hair schrunchie had Ariel on it. This is once again on the top of her to do list. I just wish she wouldn't "clam" up (see I truly am MeMom's daughter!) when she sees her!

your "claming" up comment reminds me of timandlesley's TR from a couple years back. i don't know if you read it or not but their DD, lauren, was probably about the same age as brooklynn in that picture and they went to see voyage of the little mermaid at DHS. well, when ariel came out lauren exclaimed rather loudly, "the little mermaid's got b**bies!!!!!"

Saturday, July 25th - arrive and hang out at the kiddie pool so Brooklynn can run and play for a while, head to Magic Kingdom for the parade and Crystal Palace, maybe do one or two things there, possibly go to see Larry Dotson later

Sunday, July 26th - Tusker House before Animal Kingdom opens , AK for the day, not sure about the evening

Fantasmic is showing this night, we'll miss it b/c of our anniversary dinner at Victoria & Alberts...

Monday, July 27th - Magic Kingdom EMH, or is that Tuesday?

That's Tuesday, based on my handy EMH calendar for the week...

Tuesday, July 28th - Either MK EMH or Hollywood Studios. Trent and Jarvis will arrive this day, Epcot/Teppan Edo for dinner, I will stay for Illuminations, but I doubt the others will.

Fantasmic showing this night too... I think this will end up as our HS day since DH really wants to see it...

Wednesday, July 29th - Trent plans for a waterpark this day. Not sure who else will go.

Thursday, July 30th - Jill calls this the Four Parks, One Day Extravaganza. Epcot, Cape May, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom parade, Magic Kingdom at night.

Fantasmic showing this night as well... can't help you on the rest of your trip, as this will be our departure day

Friday, July 31st - Jill said something crazy about sleeping late.

Saturday, August 1st - transfer to Wilderness Lodge, spend some time there, Whispering Canyon for lunch, not sure about the evening.

Sunday, August 2nd - not sure, everyone is so happy about being at WL, we haven't talked much about leaving it.

Monday, August 3rd - probably one last sweep through Magic Kingdom in the morning, whatever Jill wants to do before we get picked up by unMagical Express in the evening.


Jill can fill in more, because she's in charge of the planning. I'm not a lot of help right now. We do want to see Fantasmic one night.
I'm game for whatever anyone wants to do. I plan to keep the girls a couple of times so Jill and John can go play, I plan to walk around alone some to take pictures, and I plan to take just Brooklynn for some 'MeMom and me' time. Drew and Mitchell can't decide if they're going to Disney or Universal, and I think the girls are not going. Who knows with them? If they're there, we won't see them much, I'm sure. I think there will be some times where John will go with Trent and Jarvis and all the girls will hang out. There will also hopefully be at least one short time where just Jill and I can run down to Downtown Disney and shop uninterrupted.

Okay, about the eggs...

How long do you boil yours when you are making deviled eggs?

Deviled eggs for church camp?

Fifteen minutes for a few?
Twenty or so for two dozen and then let them sit in the water untouched for a little while?

If you decide to get busy with other things and forget them until you smell something and wonder who is cooking something when no one is here...
and you realize you've made hour and eleven minute eggs...
just go ahead and throw them out without even cracking them.

nope, they've cut back on it this year, which makes planning a lot more complicated. i've heard that fantasmic nights at DHS are now pretty crowded. but it's one of our favorite shows so we'd never miss it. just go here and click on "calendar" and then click on the specific days you're wondering about to see when fantasmic is offered those days: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/

I'm home from the Cape, getting ready to head to Boston for RENT in a few hours, and all caught up on both reports. I can't believe you are leaving in six days! That's actually the day that we're leaving for Ohio for a few days, so I'll be up obscenely early in the morning and will be spending the entire 12+ hour drive thinking of where you guys are. If I manage to nap in the car, maybe I'll be lucky enough to have Disney dreams.

I hope your travels back home went smoothly today. I bet you will be very tired after a full weekend.

wigdoutdismom, I'm glad I made you smile. I just wanted to do something special for Brooklynn. My DMom has always been very creative and she has added several neat things in her garden. One day I will replace the knomes with a Mickey one.

pooh'smate, glad you liked the pics. I live a few hours away from Montreal and our weather has been the same. Cold, rainy and not the typical 'summer' we are used to. My DD has barely used her pool so far. Crazy weather, some days are extreemly humid after the rain....I'm so glad I work indoors.

Megablocks, make sure you tell us all about seeing RENT.

pooh'smate, glad you liked the pics. I live a few hours away from Montreal and our weather has been the same. Cold, rainy and not the typical 'summer' we are used to. My DD has barely used her pool so far. Crazy weather, some days are extreemly humid after the rain....I'm so glad I work indoors.

My dh has alot of family in Ontario and a few cousins from both sides that live in Ottawa. My dh said if he ever moves back to Canada he would like to move to Ontario or New Brunswick. I personally love PEI. My family went there for vacation several times. I love the ocean and it was so exciting to take the fairy across. They were still working on the bridge last time I went. Wow sorry for gabbing. Back to the regularly scheduled PTR now.

i see now that blue won. yay! i love blue, third behind green and purple.

memom - i can't help you on deviled eggs but my mom could. too bad she's in bed right now! hers are supposedly really good. i don't like them so i don't know. it's amazing that i grew up in the family that i did and i don't eat deviled eggs, beans, fried chicken or coleslaw. they all think i'm insane.

Oh, I've made deviled eggs many times, so I know how long they are supposed to boil. I'd just never made bouncy balls before, but I think these were so rubbery they might have bounced back if I had thrown the against the wall. I made a second round yesterday, and they turned out fine. The campers don't so much care for them, but the counselors cleaned the tray, so it was worth the second effort.

Yeah, fried chicken, beans, and coleslaw - that's pretty much a southern picnic. Do they still even invite you to come?

CanadianWDWFan - Tell Lexi Brooklynn is really enjoying her build a bear pictures.

5 days to go!!!!!! This is the last week of work and it is only 4 days. Four long days since I am opening the school this morning and have a meeting until 7:00 or 7:30 tonight. Tuesday and Wednesday I close and then Thursday we are in training all day from 8:00-5:00. John has decided that since we didn't get in until late last night and this week is so busy for me he is going to take Friday off instead of working a half day. That way he can watch the girls while I finish up all the last minute stuff before we head to MeMom's. Today's picture is from last summer at our home away from home POP.

as far as i know! i usually just eat the potato chips.

this is so funny! poor little brooklynn....a face full of water! she may have been enjoying it though. we took luke to lake lanier islands (a waterpark nearby) when he was like 14 months and he kept just sticking his face RIGHT in the water fountains in the kiddie area and just laughing like crazy! it was cute.
