Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

What a lovely day you had with your 'girls' in Bama. :goodvibes

Awww...Steak n' Shake....Yumm!!! :yay:

I ended up having to have a filling put in.
It was the fastest proceedure I've ever had at the dentist. :thumbsup2

Tink9721 Sorry to hear about your Grandpa.

Glad you had a wonderful day with Jill and the Girls!

I wish we lived a little closer, but I won't complain about two hours. I know some people live much farther away from their kids, so I am glad for being able to see them about every other weekend.

I will have to check out our Walmart, MeMom. Thanks for the idea!

What a fun day with Jill and the girls!!! :goodvibes

I started to buy some for my back/extra/Disney room, but I didn't. I look at them every time, though, so I won't be surprised at myself if I end up with one. ;)

i'm sorry to hear that! i know who you are taking about! you could tell he was really proud of his wife and kids! just shows how precious life is!

That it is. We need to be grateful for every day that we have, and we have to think about the way we come across in this world, because we might be leaving a last and lasting impression.

Sounds like a pretty great day to me!
I can't wait to see the fancy party pictures.....princess:

Maybe Jill can get those up today. :)
I think there were eight little girls, and it was fun to watch them clomp around in high heel shoes that were too big for them and look at each other in amazement in their dresses and glittered up hair.

Sounds like a fun day for all of you!

Very fun! I wouldn't mind a repeat any Saturday. :thumbsup2

Hey MeMom! I just got all caught up again. Verrrrrry long and busy week. My grandpa passed away on Monday night. It wasn't really unexpected, he was 91. He passed away peacefully in his sleep and he wasn't in any pain. Of course it was sad, but we're all okay because he really hadn't been very happy since my grandma passed away 15 years ago, and we know they're together and happy now :) We had a really nice funeral on Thursday. It was private, just my dad and his two brothers, the grandkids(me and my 3 cousins. This was on my dad's side of the family, not the side the babies are on), my mom, and a few other close family members. My grandpa was a WWII veteran so we had military honors and all of that. It was a very emotional day, but we all got to be together and reconnect with each other. We don't get to see my uncle very often; he lives in California. It was really nice, and I know my grandpa would've liked it :)

My cousin Sarah(who is my best friend. We're VERY close) and I had plans to hang out this weekend(we planned it a while ago) and we knew our grandpa would've wanted us to be together and not cancel our plans. So she slept over last night and we went to the movies and went shopping today :)

I'm definitely looking forward to Thanksgiving! I get to see Kazin  Caleb's spending the day with his mommy's family so I don't get to see him, but at least I get one baby ;)

I'm sorry for your loss. He lived a long life and leaves behind a family who will honor him in the way you all live your own lives, I'm sure.

Yes, he would have wanted you to continue on with your fun. ::yes::
I'm glad you were able to have some special family time, even though it was because of a sad circumstance.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your family. :)

We went to the Christmas parade today with my MIL and afterwards we went to a chicken noodle dinner at their church. We ended the day, per Hannah's request, with family movie night. The USA channel was showing all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and we watched the last two.

Family movie night is good. :)
I'm loving all the Christmas movies on Family Channel right now.

I'm glad things went well at the dentist.
I hate dentists!
I like my dentist as a person - a great guy who had two kids that went to school with my kids, but as a dentist, I hate him, and he knows it. He is so kind, and he pulls all the tricks out of the bag when it comes to making things easy for me. I am very, very lucky to have him.

Awww Bella's first baby food. :cutie:

She loved it right away. That girl sees someone eating and her eyes lock in on the food!

Family movie night is good. :)

I have to admit I've been watching them for the last couple of nights!

Hey Jill...I love that you waited till Disney to give the baby her first taste of babyfood...sans bib too...you live on the edge don't you!!:rotfl: My son was such a messy eater but my oldest daughter was so neat...even to this day I think she has spilled on herself only once or twice...hmmmm...meanwhile I do it all the time!
Anyways, the parade was fun to see and the gators!!! yikes! I love the details Memom manages to find in everything...

...and I see some Memom groupies taking pics in a Disney store...just like Memom! I loved em too!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope school/work is going better this year!;)

MeMom, I have decided that I want a spring break trip.....
Airfares are outrageous...
really outrageous!
over $400 per person...
and it's too far to drive.
Spring break trip isn't looking like it's going to happen unless some cheap flights surface.

i love to see the characters interacting with tiny ones. you have to wonder what's going through bella's little head!

I'm so glad we don't have to fly - that would really put a damper on our trips for sure!

I sort of have a choice. I am about 8 hours away so a full day driving. It does eat up a whole "park day" coming and going.
I prefer to fly to maximize the park time:rotfl:

I am very close to a girls trip with friends. I may be ringing in the new year on the Poly beach!!!! We will be driving

I have to clear it with work and of course the family that I may not be home for new years :sad2: but since the family is not huge on Disney I think they will allow me my vice.

I am catching up after being out of town!!

Awww, I love the great movie ride pictures!!!!!! They are awesome!!!! My favorite part of course, is the Wizard of Oz since its my favorite movie ever!!!!
I always tear up at the end as it shows the movie clips! I know, I am a sentimental thang!! :lmao:

I booked our flights for our January trip a few weeks ago at a fantastic rate! The end of last we they jumped up to around $300 per person! There are 10 of us! GLUP!!! I was soooooo glad I booked the flights when I did!!

I have to admit I've been watching them for the last couple of nights!

I enjoy a sweet romantic Christmas comedy. I'll watch more TV than I do all year in the next month or so. I like to see the classic Christmas shows, when I happen to luck up on them. I am bad about seeing them advertised, saying I'm going to watch, then remembering them two days after they were on. :)

I have so many pictures of that parade, because there is so much detail in it. I love the vehicles all decorated up, and if I could get pictures while they weren't moving, I bet I'd see all kinds of things I have missed time and time again. I'd like to video this parade, so we'll see if I can catch it next month.

I'm so glad other people are taking shopping pictures. I love to window shop and don't often buy things, so that's just like a regular shopping trip to me, so it's fun!

Gosh, I know! I can handle the room prices, and I have an AP. Even though the flights aren't outrageous, it would still be about $250 I don't need to spend.

I was looking at a place in Gatlinburg called Westgate. It has a big indoor waterpark. We might check that out for a couple of nights. I'd like to window shop around Gatlinburg, too. Jill was little the last time we went, and it would be something new for Brooklynn.

Stupid flights are what kill all my trip ideas too.

Ours, too. Maybe we can all chip in on a private plane and just share it whenever we need it. :)

Amen sister becuse you have to plan around those

I've checked February and March prices, but it looks like it's going to be a long Disney drought from January until July.

i love to see the characters interacting with tiny ones. you have to wonder what's going through bella's little head!

I think that often when I watch Bella's expressions. She's so funny.

I'm so glad we don't have to fly - that would really put a damper on our trips for sure!

If I were even three hours closer, I don't think there would even be a question. Eight hours or less is reasonable for just getting in the car and going, I think. When we leave after school and drive, we go halfway, spend the night, then finish up early in the morning. The second half never seems nearly as long as the first half, but they are almost exactly equal in time.

Well, bring a blanket and look for the LGMH. We'll be there!
The fireworks are going to awesome!

Right now, ours for March would be about $250. That's a lot just to go down for two nights, but more nights means more money, and it just snowballs. I think I'll just have to suck it up and find something closer to home. Of course, by the time I do anything else, it'll snowball, too. Money is like that - slow to come in and fast to go!

tht is so cute

Too bad I didn't get Bella's face in that picture.

For those watching flights....

You might check out allegiant air if you have one near you. They just dropped most spring flights from $100 each way to $80 each way. The big disadvantage however is they fly into Sanford (about 1 hr from WDW), not MCO so no ME is available.

Flights for us into MCO are running $380 each so we can get a rental car for the week and still come out ahead! (And the flights are all direct so no sitting in another airport waiting for a connecting flight)

Hi MeMom, forgive the long absence. I'll try my best to catch back up. Hope all has been well with you and your sweet crew.:)

We were there from Nov. 6-16. We went to the parks everyday. We spent both Saturdays and Wed. at Epcot, Sunday (8th) at AK, Mon (9th)/Tues/Fri at MK, and Thurs./Sun (15th) at HS! Whew....... that was a mouthfull! I'm sure we crossed paths at some point. And my DH is a BIG talker so if we were near each other in line, I'm sure we talked! He talks to everyone!:lmao: I talked with several people that I thought might be disers, but I never asked. I should have though!

We crossed paths a few times. We were at MK with you on Monday (in our party, we had 3 girls, all blondes ages 1, 3, and 4 - we went to BBB and mine got tranformed into Tiana (one of the only Tiana's in the park that we could see and our friends DD was Aurora, ate lunch in the castle around 1:20). Also, we were with you at MK on Friday - didn't get there until 10:30 this day. We were mostly in Adventureland, but took our last ride on Dumbo around 2:00. We were at the rained out Christmas Party Tues night, but got a raincheck and went to the party on Thrs night. I always had my eye out for potential dissers - also, I am 21 weeks pregnant so had a bump:). I like Memom's idea about a master calendar for all of us - hahaha.

I loved all the pics from Jammin Jungle! By this time in the day, were you still glad you had planned all four parks in one day? :lmao:
