Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Okay, so now we have fears of enclosed spaces, birds, and ponies. I'm sorry you had that bad experience and the lingering memory of that time.

Anyone else care to share their fears? Maybe we can help each other get through them. We laugh about them, but they are really fears, so someone might come up with suggestions on how we can deal with them better.

I hope I never develeop a fear of shopping!
:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

DIStherapy?

I don't enjoy horses at all. Well, the only ones I've ever liked are My Little Ponies. :rotfl2: I like looking at them from a distance. :rolleyes1

OMGosh, the look on Brooklynn's face is great! And Jill's treat is making my teeth hurt just looking at it! They couldn't possibly have fit another M&M on there! Looks yummy, though!

Happy Halloween!!! It's raining, raining, raining here, but we are hoping it clears up in time to do trick-or-treating.

Segway riders are "kinda" like cowboys -- maybe. :lmao:

Yeay for Brooklyn getting to ride a pony -- what fun for her!!!

Happy Halloween!! Hope the girls have a great day!!!

Love the look on Brooklynn's face as she is riding that pony!! She was having a great time!!!

Bella sleeping...LOL...she looked very very comfortable!!!

DIS therapy LOL...I have a fear of flying LOL!

Happy Halloween !!

Two very nice updates :) Love the picture w/ the Fort Wilderness Sign ! Awesome shopping pictures as usual , looks like they have a lot of cute stuff animals over there and I'm usually not a stuffty fan . LOL Brooklyn looks like she had a blast ridding the ponies , hopefully I'll get my kiddies over there to do it one day before they get to big . LOL

Okay it is time to interject and clarify some things on MeMom's last installment. It wasn't that Brooklynn wasn't tall enough last summer, it was that you have to be two. When the lady asked how old she was I had told her almost two and she said she couldn't ride but she did let her sit on one for a minute.

After we returned to Pop MeMom was kind enough to watch the girls while they napped so John and I could run to DOwntown Disney to do some kid free shopping. We went to Goofy's and got 3 make it yourself rice krispie treats - one with M&Ms, one with Reese's Pieces, and one with crushed Oreos. They are the best deal on property. They cost less than the prepackaged Rice Krispie Treats and they are MUCH bigger!

Now for my pictures for this installment.

I have pictures to load from the pumpkin patch and Brooklynn's fall "festibal" and I'm sure I will take a picture or two tonight!

it made me laugh to think that you wanted to see cowboys at ft wilderness

btw Jill can I plz use your idea to use disney it would help a great deal in a lot of ways

I used the Disney Princess Lullaby CD. It is all instrumental. I walked down the aisle to a Nemo song also instrumental.

Jilly, you had it right! Two MeMom sightings!
Brooklynn looks very serious about that pony ride!

I love Brooklynn's thumbs-up! MeMom, I saw you twice! I can tell that your knee must have been bothering you by the way you were standing in the first one. :sad2:

Clowns! I can tell myself that they are people in makeup but that doesn't make a difference. Pretty much everyone knows my issue with clowns. My best friend's mom works at my store and promised me that she'd get between me and any clowns that could wander in today. :)

Friends of ours board horses. If you ever want to work on your fear, come on down and we'll go visit them. We could walk very, very slowly back to the barn and just stay at a distance until you felt like you wanted to go up and touch one.

That would be like holding the lid to a trunk open over my head until I was ready for you to close me in, right???

I'm at least glad you like Little Ponies that have purple and pick manes. That's a start. :thumbsup2

I don't think they finished any of the Mickey heads. I remember throwing away some goodies when we left Wilderness Lodge on the last day. They certainly did not skimp on the candy!

I think we have a 20% chance of rain tonight.

Wouldn't it be fun to ride a segway around the fort?

As you can see, Brooklynn quite enjoyed the ride, even as short as it was.

Happy Halloween!! Hope the girls have a great day!!!

Bella sleeping...LOL...she looked very very comfortable!!!

DIS therapy LOL...I have a fear of flying LOL!

They were going to make jack-o-lanterns this morning and go visiting friends tonight. I'm sure Brooklynn will have more candy than a kid needs in a year by the end of the night. :)

I am not afraid of the flying, but I have to sit at a certain spot on the plane to trick myself into thinking I'm in a large area. I mostly read and look out the window during flights. The worst part for me is when the aisles get clogged with people ready to get off. I'm always ready to get off, and I'm glad our flight is not a long one.

For getting over your fear in a Disney way, you could ride Astro Orbiter a few times. :)

Happy Halloween !!

If you get a chance to visit Fort Wilderness at Christmas, you should do so. A lot of people decorate really big over there, and it's fun to see their Disney stuff.

 good to know!

I have a pretty sensitive nose when it comes to grossy smells, and it really didn't bother me at all. It was very clean. If you like horses, you should see the barn with all the big horses. It is so clean!

love the thumbs up picture! :thumbsup2

Me, too. She is very serious. ;)

Me too! :goodvibes And is that TWO MeMom sightings???!!

No, that is either a pink elephant on the loose or, by the looks of it, it's a very large flamingo! Must be an escapee from over at AKL!

Jilly, you had it right! Two MeMom sightings!
Brooklynn looks very serious about that pony ride!

Now you see why I like to be the one with the camera! I can't trust Jill any more!

Clowns! I can tell myself that they are people in makeup but that doesn't make a difference. Pretty much everyone knows my issue with clowns. My best friend's mom works at my store and promised me that she'd get between me and any clowns that could wander in today. :)

I stood on one leg a lot. I hope I was not often spreading my wings like I am in that picture. I look like a pink flamingoelephant. That's a real animal, right?

Drew has been afraid of clowns since he was about six. He spent the night with a bunch of friends, and they stayed in their downstairs den. I guess the mom didn't know what movies they had access to, but they ended up watching something with an evil clown in it. He said the name was 'It', I think. He was slightly traumatized and has disliked clowns ever since. I don't think he'll ever want to stay at the Boardwalk because of the pool. :scared:

When I saw this picture, I said "Awww" out loud without thinking! Of course, my family wasn't phased 'cause they know it was probably the DIS Boards!

Denise

It's good to know they just accept you the way you are, even with your special DISease. ;)

What are your kids dressing up as tonight, or are they?

Creepy movie! :scared1: It's based on a Stephen King novel. No wonder Drew doesn't like clowns... I must admit I haven't like clowns since I saw it.

LOVE the updates! It looks like Brooklynn loved the pony ride!: :goodvibes

Happy Halloween everyone!
Rachel

The picture of Brooklynn with the thumbs up made me giggle out loud. So serious and precious at the same time.

I have a huge fear of bats. I wasn't even willing to go along the Maharajah Trek because I knew there were bats somewhere along the way!

I spied a MeMom. I also noticed the my knee hurts stand. I know it very well. I do a version of that stand too.
Brooklynn on the horse, that was a moment of pure joy for her wasn't it?
Bella, sweet little Bella , she just goes with the flow. Too cute.

Here is Tigger dressed as Dracula and Dumbo dressed as a little boy named Ty.

Sorry you were sick, but glad you made the best of it and got some DIS time out of it. :thumbsup2

I'm feeling much better :goodvibes I made it to school yesterday and I got all of my make up work...which I will do tomorrow. No work on Halloween! :rotfl: I went trick or treating with my cousin last year but I'm staying in tonight. 16 is probably too old...although my cousin was 18 when we went :lmao: I was too lazy to get a costume anyway, plus I was sick all week.

My mom and I "accidently" bought way more candy than we're gonna need for the trick or treaters tonight. I guess we'll have to eat what's leftover ;)

Anyone else care to share their fears? Maybe we can help each other get through them. We laugh about them, but they are really fears, so someone might come up with suggestions on how we can deal with them better.

SPIDERS! I have no idea why but I've always been terrified of them! :scared1: And I can sympathize with Drew..."It" was a terrifying movie!!!!! But it's a Stephen King movie, so what else can you expect?

I look like a pink flamingoelephant. That's a real animal, right?

We did Trunk or Treat at our church. Tom was a referee, Lee was just himself :confused3, Sarah Jo was a 50's sock-hop girl (she helped out with a diner-themed trunk), and Maggie was a pirate princess. It was a lot of fun!
