I recommend Gypsy and In The Heights. Maybe you should see Spring Awakening. I was obsessed with it for a year but then the original cast left so now I'm not so into it anymore. But I never got to see it. I wish my parents would say yes. Spamalot is very funny. I saw it with Clay Aiken. He was really good.

I would really have to reccomend Rent. It is such a great show.

I would reccomend In The Heights or Spring Awakening. I wouldn't worry about not liking the new cast, there are still some original members in SA and the new ones can hold their own.

If you want to see a Disney show I would reccoment Mary Poppins. Honestly though, Disney's version of Broadway is not really the same as any other Broadway show. Personally I like the grittier stuff, not the Disney'fied stuff.

Young Frankenstein is good if youv'e read frankenstein and like comedies. Its actually quite hilarious.

I think [Title of Show] is in previews right now. If at all possible I would buy tickets to thsi show. It is totally next years tony winner.

If you want to venture to an Off-Broadway show....Altar Boyz is hilarious. Its about a christian "boy band" on its tour to promote the religion.

Travis: See [title of show]! It's in previews now and opens Thursday, but if there's any way for you to get tickets, DO IT! Next year's Best Musical fo sho.

Other favorites of mine that you should see: Rent (you should see it before it closes Sept. 7th!), Spring Awakening, and In the Heights.

And if you want to see a Disney show, I'd bypass Mermaid and see Lion King.
Although Sherie Rene Scott is totally worth sitting through Mermaid, lol.
