I love RENT, i saw the tour group, i don't have enough money to see it one broadway tho.... *tear* But give it 10 years and they'll do a revival!

but Adam and Anthony are doing the national tour next year...mark my words i will have tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite Musicals are Les Mis, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aida, etc..

I really like all of them except Hairspray, Rent, South Pacific, and Sweeney Todd (I liked the movie better...)

Haha YES! I love The Producers! It's SO hilarious... I have 'I Wanna Be a Producer' stuck in my head right now, actually... Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick are so funny.

Oh my goodness, so I saw Gypsy with Patti LuPone last night!! It was INCREDIBLE! The whole show was great. Laura Benanti was Louise, and she had an amazing voice, even though she was sick. The poor girl was coughing like mad, no matter how hard she tried to hold it in. She even pulled out a tissue once, and even though you could tell it wasn't supposed to happen, she worked it in well. But OMG, Patti LuPone. Whoa. I have to say, I would not be surprised at all if she won the Tony. Get this: In the song Rose's Turn, the audience gave her a standing ovation! And the show wasn't over yet! I really had never seen anything like that happen before. It wasn't like it was a huge belting number, it was just the way she expressed it that was really great. Anyways, I loved it. Oh, and my aunt is trying to get tickets for us to go to the Tonys! My mom and I went two years ago, and it's a really cool experience. I hope we get to go again

Patti LuPone is genius. Actually I think one of the girls cast in 13 was in gypsy with Patti LuPone. Broadway is such a small world.

It really is, isn't it? But yeah, Patti is incredible. When she came onstage everyone went absolutely wild. She walked down from the aisle, which was pretty cool.

I just saw Rent in NYC last weekend .. it was amazing!
I've also seen:
Wicked
Movin' Out
The Lion King
Beauty and the Beast
Hairspray
and Chicago

I don't think I can pick a favorite, though I loved Movin' Out because of 1) the Billy Joel songs and 2) the amazing dancers.

My old dance studio used to take a trip to NYC and we'd take classes at Broadway Dance Center, and see a show, and usually get to take a class (just our team) with someone who was in the show.
The first time we saw Movin Out, and the lead dancer led the class and taught us 3 of the routines that were in the show! And after we met up with him again - it was awesome! The second time we did a class taught by a guy in Hairspray!

Sooooo Im kinda pissed. My BEST friend got backstage/Front-row tickets to hairspray. (She won them in a contest) and she didnt invite me. I got tickets and backstage passes to Chitty, back when it was on broadway, and she was the first person I invited!! Ughhh

Also she got onstage seats in May for SA...and nope she didnt invite me, she invited her sister. I was gonna surprise her with onstage seats for her graduation present too!! Man, this is annoying.

Noo I didn't get any pictures .. except the sign outside the nederlander because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take a picture w/o flash. It always comes out crazy blurry.

But we were very close and it was an amazing show!!
