We are arriving at HH on a Sunday. I was wondering if you can buy alcohol at the Broad Creek Mercantile on a Sunday? Thanks for your help.

No you cannot purchase alcohol at Broad Creek on Sundays. My DH tried. However, we were able to purchase it at Publix on Sunday.

And I think DH bought a bottle of rum at the liquor store next to Piggly Wiggly (or was it in Piggly Wiggly?)

I think it must have been the liquor store near the Piggly Wiggly. I think grocery stores are only allowed to sell beer and wine, not hard liquor.

Even the Sand Bar (bar at the beach house pool) is closed on Sundays.
