Now I'm in a quandary! I've got some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket and I'd set my heart on purchasing a bit of Disney Music but this is also tempting me. I'd buy it anyway but it's more a matter of when.....I'm hopeless at these decisions! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm up town today. I'll see if I can find it someone in town.

Amazon have just sent me an e-mail saying it will be a 4-6 week wait for my copy of this book, which I pre-ordered ages ago. :confused3

Anyone know of any online shop that has stock?

Regards
Michelle

I went all over yesterday - Waterstones, Smiths - you name it - but not a sign. I could get the 2006 Orlando one just about everywhere but not the DLP one. I think I'll have to place an internet order when I get back to work on Monday.

I was hoping to go to 'BIG' Tescos this week - it might have been in there but we never got the chance.

Off topic maybe but does anyone have any idea why bookstores always place their enquiry/order desk at the top of about 3 flights of stairs? :confused3 :confused3 :lmao:

Amazon now have stock, they have despatched my copy today. Yippee!!! :cool1:

Must get round to booking restaurants for our trip in 8 weeks!

Just back from DLRP and I took my well-thumbed copy of the 2003 Brit's Guide (shouldn't it be Brits' Guide?!?) One evening we ate in Planet Hollywood, and noticed someone on a nearby table using the 2004/05 book to get the discount, which reminded me of the coupon in my 'original' book (which was back in the hotel!) Would it still be valid? I'm going back early in Sept... it doesn't seem to mention an expiry date.
Looking forward to taking along the 2006 book next time!

Does anyone know if the new Guide has another Planet Hollywood voucher in it?

Thanks in advance
John

Simon mentioned in another post that it does :thumbsup2 Worth the purchase of the book alone :)

I ordered mine from Amazon in Feb and it just got dispatched this morning!
Can't wait to get planning for my August trip! :cool1:

Play have it in stock now too at £6.99 delivered-cheapest on the 'net. Ordered mine last night and it's already on its way. Who cares if its a Homer Simpson birthday present for my wife  (when he buys Marge a 10 pin bowling ball and says , well if you don't want it, I will :rotfl2: )

I ordered my copy from Play.com - blew my birthday money on it. [well you've got to haven't you!? :confused3 ]

At risk of getting howled down - but anyway.

Had a quick flick through in Waterstones, and given all the marvellous advice obtained from the wise inhabitants of this board, I couldn't see sufficiently new in the 06-07 edition to merit buying it (I have the 04-05). Sorry to big Brits Guide fans (and author), but I'm not sure its always worth buying every edition of a guide book - and you'll see from my other posts that I don't believe in skimping when it comes to holidays. Maybe by the time 08-09 version comes out there will be enough changes to make it wothwhile for me
