Amazon is showing 4-6 weeks wait, Play is awaiting delivery and WHSmith is quoting 2-4 weeks..gggrrrr.
Has the new edition definitely been released yet ??
Picked up the only copy from Waterstones in Chester today, WHSmith still had the older version on their shelves. Haven't had chance to read through it yet.
I managed to get it on Saturday from Waterstones in Peterborough but it was the only one they had between their two stores and nowhere else had it in stock. Had to flip a coin with DH to see who got to read it first. I won , so I spent Sunday reading it cover to cover, with the occasional 'Ooooh, Aaaarrr' just to wind DH up Not having been to DLP before I now feel a lot better prepared and knowledgeable than I did before reading this book. I can now get on and do some proper planning. Roll on November!!
This seems really strange - does anyone have any idea why there just seems to be the odd copy about because my email from Tesco definately says that the release date has been delayed until 1st May?
We got our copy yesterday from Ottakers Bookshop in Bury St Edmunds they had about 5 in store. Just in time for our visit next week!
If you've already read the 04/05 guide its prettu much the same only with more colour pictures and more up to date info on rides etc.
Hi folks. You should find the new edition is widely available this week as it went to distribution March 31. I've no idea why Tesco have 'delayed' it to May as there are certainly plenty of copies available! You might want to contact them to check, and perhaps cancel your order and try elsewhere if they can't deliver.
The new edition includes all the latest developments for DLP, including Buzz, Toon Studios, Tower of Terror (now confirmed for Autumn 2007) and the renovation of Disney Village. We have included a lot more personal recommendations from Susan and myself, so hopefully it is even more user-friendly. Plus, we have a special discount offer with Leger Holidays which should make it well worthwhile (and we still have the Planet Hollywood deal, too). The biggest change, though, is going to full 4-part colour, the same as the Orlando book, so we have a LOT more photos through the whole book, rather than in those slightly annoying colour 'blocks'. We are very pleased with how it looks and our only challenge now is getting the website up and running in the middle of a major server change and other online issues
