Brita Water Filter Question

Hi Everyone! Is it true that I can buy a Brita water filter and install it on the faucet in the hotel? Someone mentioned this in a post and I am intrigued. Will those filters install on any faucet? We will be staying at the Poly in May. Thanks!

I have no idea. I can't remember if the resort rooms have the threads on the faucet to twist on a water filter. We used the Brita Fill n Go sport bottles. They have a filter that is placed in the sport top. They are about $7-8 at WalMart and can be found in the plumbing section.

We just stop at the store and pick up 2 or 3 (3) gallon containers. They come with the spout in the side. If fits nicely on the sink counter. They are very inexpensive. We use these to make coffee, brushing our teeth and refilling our sport bottles for the fridge.

the brita bottles have been discontinued. Purewater2go makes the water filter bottles now. I have some, they work great

those are a really great idea! I hadn't thought of that! We just got back a few weeks ago and went through 3 cases of bottled water. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand drinking faucet water when on vacation, never tastes like it does at home.

Ya, the purewater2go bottles really work well. I've been happy with mine, I use it every day. Much cheaper than bottled water.
