Brita water bottles, backpacks

Hi. Me (45) DH (48) DS (16) DD(9) will be visiting DW in 2 weeks! I was able to find Brita Water bottles and filters at my local Walmart.They cost $4.50 a piece and came with a filter. I bought extra filters. Where can I buy straps for the water bottles? Also, would a back pack be more practical than a tote bag? We have a nice digital camera, the kids have disposables.Is O'Hanas nice for dinner, and do we need advance PS? I think my kids are too old for Chef Mickey's breakfast, but is it good? We are staying offsite at the vistana villages, any good restaurants near there? What are the best fireworks to see, and which restaurants offer the best view of the fireworks? Are the boats that can be rented to watch the fireworks nice? Anyone know the cost? T hanks!!!

the boats for the fireworks cruise aren't cheap - they need to be reserved 90 days before you need it. the rent from $120 to $200???.

I bring a back pack and a fanny pack.

the food at Chef Mickeys is okay not great - for better food go to Cape May Cafe - Goofy's Beach Blast.

Your 9 year old is not too old at all - she would enjoy it!!!

I might be tempted to try for the Princess Breakfast for her at Norway - Epcot. but that also must be done at 90 days.

I ended up buying my bottle strap at the parks. People kept saying they have them at Walmart, Target, etc, but I could never find any. Each park has their own design. Mine is from MGM and was like $3?

Re the fireworks cruise: you probably can't book one this late. If you go to the Theme Parks section here on the DIS, you will see a thread at the top called "Illuminations Cruises". People who have open spots on thier cruises will post there looking for people to share. You might luck out that way.

You probably won;t ahve a lot of luck just showing up at 'Ohana. I woujld call and see if there are any openings now. If there are not, you can call each day while you're there to see if there are any cancellations.
