Unfortunately, you can vote for anyone for whatever reason you want. You don't have to vote for the best dancer and therefore anyone can win this show.
Unless they change the rules - the best dancer doesn't always win.

Exactly. You can vote for anyone for any reason that you want. There is nothing that says that you are required to vote for the person who executed the steps the best. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.![]()
Thanks for ruining the show for me. I taped it for my daughter and I because we had to go out last night, now there's no sense watching it. Maybe you should change the title to avoid ruining it for many others.
I've had show spoiled by folks on the DIS too. It's easy to avoid the DWTS thread but not so easy to avoid threads with the results in the title. Tink1969, just think next time you spoil the show for people ... it's really not nice and you could have easily changed the title right away like crashbb asked you THREE minutes after you first posted. I'm positive that you checked the thread last night so your refusal to change it says a lot ...I've had show spoiled by folks on the DIS too. Back to the issue of Ms. Palin. Bristol had the lowest scores in FIVE out of the last SIX shows but her mom's fans just keep on bringing her back from the dead. I have to wonder what kind of backlash there will be is Bristol actually wins because I am certain she will be the lowest scored dancer next week too.
I agree with the poster that stated anyone with dancing experience should not be there. Agreed, Jennifer is really good, but duh!, she was really good in Dirty Dancing too!! As far as Bristol goes, I do think she is what the show should be about, someone that has absolutely no experience, but with that said, she is not very good and should not win. However, we all know that since anybody can vote, many fans of her mother are voting for her just because of who she is. My vote goes to Kyle, what a personality and he truly has pulled it off. I love to see him dance. He is so light on his feet and can really move! Although he is well known, it wasn't for starring in a movie with a dancing part. Jennifer will probably win, but I hope it's Kyle.

Some people don't care if they ruin a show for others. It's kinda sad, but what can you do? Being considerate to others is dying out.
The timezone thing was pointed out three minutes after she posted. When was the last time you started a thread and didn't hang out to see the responses? You're right ... maybe she didn't know how to change the title and in that case maybe she should have said "Sorry! I didn't know how to change the title!" instead of getting all snarky about how the people she spoiled shouldn't look at other media. Not everyone posts with intent to spoil... not everyone thinks about the different time zones. I sure don't. It's what's happening at the time, and call me self-centered, but people on the west coast don't cross my mind if I'm thinking about something that is taped. I've accidently let a spoiler for Glee loose on FB. A friend of mine **nicely** asked me to not do it again and I really try not too. Give OP a break. I highly doubt spoiling your evening was #1 on their mind.
As stated, I've been guilty of that myself. You're watching, thinking, then you post - it's not live TV like for say a sporting event that is viewed across the nation... it was most likely an honest mistake - and maybe, just maybe, OP wasn't sure how to change the title on the thread.
I was really hoping that Bristol would be gone last night. Yes she has improved but she is not near the caliber of Brandy. They need to change their judging system to give more weight to the judges scores.
Jennifer Grey is a whiner...ugghhh
Fair enough. It's tough anymore to view stuff like that and feel strong enough to post and want people to celebrate/comiserate with that the thought process isn't always fully thought out.The timezone thing was pointed out three minutes after she posted. I don't think she intended to spoil the show but she did and my issue with it is that she doesn't seem care that she did.
Welcome to Team Kyle!Yea, its getting ridiculous now....I mean Bristol is OK....but I wanted Brandy to win..I adore her, and she has gone thru so much in the last few years.Jennifer Grey is a whiner...ugghhh

And Bristol is not the first, nor will she be the last. There have been plenty of non-stars in past seasons, and I didn't think they should have been there, either.
