Our family wishes everyone safe travels and we are looking forward to meeting everyone on the ship. We are almost finished packing, having trouble getting my 17 year old son into high gear, so I will probably finish his packing tonight. We leave Washington Dulles Thursday morning at 9:05 and can't wait to get this vacation started. I am waking up at night adding things to my list of things not to forget.

Disneyland will be a good beginning as none of us have ever been there. We are a WDW family and will try very hard not to compare the parks, but I think our hearts will always be at WDW. We adopted my three children at ages 5,6 and 7 from Russia and the first week they were in this country we took them to WDW and have been back every year since with a few Disney cruises mixed in there.

I want to thank everyone on this board for all the information and support. It has made the planning more enjoyable and exciting.

What a lovely story - looking forward to meeting you, Nordkin, and your three lovely children. You will be surprised at how small DL is compared to WDW. Apparently, so a CM told us, the whole of DL fits into the Magic Kingdom carpark at WDW. Don't know how true that is, but it's a good tale.

We are leaving in less than 8hours. Really must go to bed now for our early start!!

Okay, the stress is starting to set in. We don't leave till Thursday am, but I just can't believe the time to leave has gotten this close and there are still things I want to do. (Like make more door magnets) Why didn't I make better use of my time over the last year. Kept thinking we had plenty of time and then all of a sudden here we are. I am so excited about this trip. DH just went to the grocery store to get some snacks for the plane ride. I can't wait to get to CA and visit Disneyland. We have never been and I know we will have a great time. Then onto the ship for 2 weeks of Fun, Fun, Fun. Is this really happening???? If not, no one wake me up.

Everyone who is leaving, safe travels and enjoy Southern CA!! We will arrive late Friday and see you at the Port. Wow can you believe it is really here. I still have to pick out what I want to bring as far as clothes. I always bring too much. Many details yet but we keep saying - in a few days it will not matter - we will be on the MAGIC FOR TWO WEEKS!!!!

Thanks Michelle! I have been very worried about it. I stopped my mail today but guess I will go to the post office and see if it arrives tomorrow or Thurs. I always stop my mail early just in case they forget. It has paid off a couple of times.

I've got my stuff and the kid's stuff ready. DH hasn't packed anything!!! Good thing we aren't leaving until Friday early AM! I am starting to feel the stress. I want everything packed and ready to go!

I think we are the last to leave, Fri nite 8:30 from JFK, So I think I will be lonely Fri. with no posts to read.

Safe trips, haven't even started packing and will have the cleaning lady come while I'm gone!

Don't worry. My family leaving Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. from JFK. My DH is the pessimist all he says is that we won't make it.
