Bringing The Magic Home - 8/20/05

fyi

Could there be a sweeter day of the year? On Friday, June 3rd, Krispy Kreme will celebrate National Doughnut Day by offering customers a free doughnut of their choice in participating stores throughout the U.S.

Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to raise much-needed funds during the Great Depression and to honor the work of World War I Salvation Army volunteers who prepared doughnuts for thousands of soldiers. Doughnut Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June, and special fundraising events continue today at Salvation Armies around the country.

So stop by and celebrate National Doughnut Day with Krispy Kreme on June 3rd and have a doughnut on us! Please visit http://www.krispykreme.com/ for store location information and to find out if your local Krispy Kreme is participating.

I'm putting clothes together too. Sears had a great sale the other week on dressier type clothes for the boys - a vest with black pants and white shirt. I bought them a couple of nice shirts too on sale.
Did you see on the cruise line forum the thread about packing the night before?! Wow! I've been throwing stuff in my "cruise area" for over a month already! :earboy2:

Well -- cruise wear will have to wait a little bit -- since my nephew & his friend are going to tear out our bathroom this weekend. New tile, tub & faucets to be put in. Keeping my fingers crossed we will be able to shower by Monday morning -- otherwise it's over to our brothers to shower :flower:

But I am making a least one stop at Best Buy for more computer memory, a DVD Burner & a firewire cable. Hope to be able to burn the first DVD by the end of the week. If all goes well -- I'll definitely will do a DVD of the cruise for our group. :cool1:

Guess I will need a new Sisterhood name -- DVD Maker or something like that :teeth:

:cat:

DisneyElf please put me down for a copy of the DVD of our trip. Lots of friends who want to see what fun we all are having.

Whiskers we are on our 9th Dobe. The first one arrived when I was in high school. Never mind how long ago that was. :rotfl: We've had other breeds too but nothing is quite like a Dobe.

Have to get Phil to check our reservations and make sure our Palo and my massage are still there. We do have our printed conformations so we should be okay. At least we better be.

Rain here today so have been trying to get more done on that baby quilt that I have been working on for monthes. Baby visited day care today, she drove herself, no only kidding.:earseek: But it'll be true if I don't get working.

Estelle

Thank you to everyone welcoming me to this great forum, I'm definately not going to miss out on Tracy's newsletter.
I'm now in the thralls of serious reservations now that my balance has just been paid for the cruise. This weekend will be spent making reservations for one of the Disney land hotels- got to make the most of the long East to West coast precruise trip,- and also reservations for the shore excursions and Palo's.
As for my big dog Moose, he's going to the Vet's kennels. He's so well known there he's treated like one of the family pets. Best thing is he always seems happy there and on the final day he get a complimentary bath before coming home!

I will start a list -- actually can do it onboard ... since I won't be burning the DVD til we get back (hmm could be problem if we chain ourselves to the railings and refuse to leave  )

Howdy - I just returned from the 2 week repo during which I learned about the Disers...many of which were my cruise neighbors. Needless to say..the cruise was absolutely fantastic. We are returning for the Aug repo and don't want to miss out on the DIS fun. How do I get added to your list??

WELCOME all and cinlyn too! Glad to have you with us! See below about how to get on Tracy's newsletter list, it is spectacular and will give you all the info. you need. We'd love to get tips from your westbound repo. too! Again, welcome!!!

PS Marsha, thanks much for all your hard work on the lanyards, YAHOO!

Wow, you get to go on both repositioning cruises! What fun! Welcome! If you let me know how many are in your group, I'll add Union, KY to the DISmap!

Welcome cinlyn, both repo cruises, what fun.

A question if you don't mind. . . do you know how much the rainforest pass was for your repo cruise.

I have to start budgeting and figuring out how many extra shifts I need to get in before Aug. :confused3
