Do they allow you to bring in brown bag lunches? I've noticed that sometimes they let food in and other times they don't. Please comment if you have any experiences with this. TIA
The only thing they will question is tupperware, glass or hard-sided coolers. If you have snacks, sandwiches, etc in ziplocks or paper bags, you should have no problem.
The only time I have seen them deny anyone food is when they wanted to take in the fixings for sandwiches. they said that the food had to be pre made... Meaning put the food together before you arrive.
I take in stuff all the time. Even taco bell tacos and burritos.. Then we bring in juice boxes and cans of soda..
Great that is good news. I am planning on making hame/cheese sandwiches, a baggie of chips, baggie of fruit, and bottled water and putting them in a locker until we get hungry. I would like to be as frugal as I can for this trip.

You can take a cooler past security if your plan is to put it in a locker. In this heat I suggest you do. I have taken a soft sided cooler into the park with ice in it and had it in the stroller all day. They never said anything. Being frugal is the only way to go
Heck we take in Lunchables and subway sandwiches!!! ( I wont eat a cold burger) With the taco bell, we just put it in a soft sided cooler and it stayed hot for about 4 hours..
I once was questioned about the food and i said my family has many allergies...
I read on the DIS boards the other day that a KFC bucket of chicken was taken away from a guest... mind you, that's a little more obvious than packed snacks....
