Val,

I was wondering about the color yellow for the lanyards.

I am aware of another large group on this cruise that has yellow as their color. It would be nice to be set apart, so this group can be easily recognized.
Just a thought, thanks for your work of this. We always enjoy you informative posts.

Thanks, Mary

Anyone interested in a room tour on a sea day? I would love to see what the other catagories look like. I'm in an ADA (handicapped) cat 6 with a huge deck. I promise to pick my socks up before you arrive.

This would be fun. I'm not sure where we're at right now....we're one of the GTY 12's wainting to be assigned. I'd love to see what the various categories look like.

Why not DIS green? Not sure why we went yellow instead of green?

Lots of sailing groups have chosen other colors as an alternative to the lime green. I dislike that color, and won't wear it.

That's a good enough reason-yellow is a great color and Disers will be easily visable-I would not be in favor of green either.

I can't wait to see those lanyards hanging on your necks:cool1: --hurry up August!!

Mary

How about Mickey Black. We used red on the EB. You could spot one of us a mile away. Doesn't matter to us. I'll wear it just to make friends. I just love those random conversations on the boat with other lanyard people.

Nanaguide, I'll look for a charm for you. No problem! How about if you just send the money if I can find you one. I;d actually LOVE to do something nice for you when you made the cruise so nice for me! Scott bought me a charm necklace and bracelet on the cruise and some cute charms, too. I was just tickled!

Now, Everyone else needs to remind me to get the charm, K?

Almost forgot...I have
2 twelve year olds, Meghan and Mary
and one ten year old, Anneliese,
and one eight year old, Grace (can't remember if you're including that young or not)

I think the men should wear the ties, too!

I will volunteer our cabin when we find out what we have. :thumbsup2 It's a 12 GTY. It will be the messy one with stuff falling out the door that the host has to keep kicking back with his foot. Poor guy.:rotfl2:

We only chose yellow becasue of the visability and it was DCL colors. We did toss around red and black as well and felt yellow would stand out with either red or black lettering.

The intent was create to a harmonious way to recognize a fellow DCL lover. :goodvibes

I added them all to the list on page 179 post 2674. We have quite a few 7-9s as well, so no problem!

I'm not the only one with these issues?? :rotfl2:

Ellen .... and others......What seats do you all have on the AerLingus flight 104/562 leaving JFK on Aug. 17? I am probably getting ready to book that and would like to sit near some of you.....if ya dont mind! I wanted a window but there are none showing on the JFK-DUB segment...may have to lean over someone so that I can see the ocean....this is my first transatlantic flight so I am a little excited.:woohoo:

Pam

HI Pam,
