Hi don't know if you saw my other post. Pls PM as I am totally new to these boards. There are (so far) 6 of us -- all adults traveling as Bear's Mates. And we are booked in Cat 4 and looking forward to meeting a lot of great people--but may need some help with how all this stuff works.
Thanks for all you do... it's awesome

Hiya. P177 has got a list of all the stuff that's planned on the boat so far. If you fancy joining anything just give us a shout. If you have any ideas about things we could do on the boat then just shout em out! Anyway that's really all you need to know, oh and its less than 10 weeks until the cruise!

welcome to all the new cruisers!

did we finalize the colors of the lanyard?

Ok all you JFK flyers....I need to know something....

I will be arriving on American Airlines transferring to Aer Lingus.....will I go to baggage claim and get my luggage and then transfer to another terminal and re-check in? I have never been to JFK and am a little lost. How long will it take to get from one gate to the other...looks like I arrive at terminal 9 and leave from terminal 4.

Have not booked flight to JFK yet, so I might have to take Jet Blue. I need to know the travel time between terminals so that I arrive in plenty of time!

I will get lost before I get out of the states!!!:lmao:

If you do not book the flights together, Jet Blue and Air Lingus, then you will have to claim your luggage and go through the check in process as if you were originating at JFK.

As for the airport. It is quite large and I would give yourself at leat an hour to claim luggage and then another 45 minute to change terminals. So if you have to be at the airport for the internation flight 3 hours prior, you would now need to be ther at a minimum of 5 hourse prior. Good luck

Hi all,

Still looking to put together a meet for the younger group. We seem to have alot of girls for the 10-12 year old ice cream. Where are the younger brothers or sisters? Anybody else have 8-9 year olds headed to the lab?

Thanks.

Lisa

We're flying Northwest from Detroit to Chicago. Then we're on Aer Lingus from Chicago to Dublin (flight 122) to Barcelona(flight 562).
We booked on Orbitz which did not give us seats on the Aer Lingus flights so I called Aer Lingus. I was able to get seats on the automated system for the Chicago-Dublin flight but not on the flight to Barcelona.

We have Cruise Chat on Fri nights at 9:00PM Eastern Time (just click on the chat link above) but there is now also a separate chat room set up for group cruises. Groups can use it anytime to discuss their upcoming cruise. Would anyone be interested in setting up a chat time for this cruise?

Gail, you are added to the list and we are up to 93 lanyards requested!

Karen, that sounds like fun! I am away this weekend, so I hope for an additional chat later :)

My husband's comment about the color of the text was "Red or blue. We don't want to look like bumblebees" I'm just passing on his comment.

I'm fairly certain that we're on the same flight from Chicago. I'll PM you! :surfweb:
