Well, since I'm breaking the bank on this trip!;) I decided to try to phone for Chef's Table for our Saturday Night Dinner for our return back to FLA! Then when I got up this morning, forgot!

I decided, I'll phone once I get into work! Well I guess we were meant to go! They had availability!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

This will be the late Birthday gift to myself!

Wow, congrats. I have yet to try V&A, let alone the Chef's Table. But I've heard wonderful things about it. That will be a great B-day gift.

If you ever get a chance, do it! Even DD is excited about it now! I thought she would moan but she loved the food! She even said she might eat fish just for that night!LOL

Plus next year's cruise, we'll have to leave for home right away so I won't have the opportunity to do anything at WDW!

PS Mel, I've been practicing my butter throwing!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bascially, pick up butter pat, try to get Mel's attention, when you don't, throw butter just as she is turning her head! BING, right on the nose!

Hello everyone!
I just found new article on Barcelona on the Frommer's website. :surfweb: It mentions traveling with a family and has things to do with children in Barcelona.

http://www.frommers.com/articles/4240.html

Things look good for the kiddies. Thanks also for the info on the different festivals that will be going on during August.:thumbsup2 very cool!

Here's another bit of info I just found out by looking on cruisecal.info. On Saturday, we're scheduled to be in port in Barcelona with the Voyager of the Seas and Sunday with the Norwegian Jewel. Other than that, we're supposedly the only ship scheduled into all of the rest of the ports. It sounds like it'll be less crowded! :crowded:

Thank you. It had a couple of nice eating spots as well and we all know vacation is all about the food. :lmao:

Okay, I just had to stop by and drum up some chatter.

I could not sleep last night so I got out my new Passporter (finally) and read that for a while. It really sparked the planning juices for me. I must have dreamt all night about our many ports. I woke excited about getting to spain, checking in, eating and taking a little siesta then going out into town.

Who else is ready and planning for the great adventure? I can not wait to see how my DGD (11) will react when she experinces different cultures. I want to get a map to track our adventure for her along the way. I hope this will be a great learning experience and a fun one as well. Anyone else have any good ideas?:confused3

One thing I do know for sure, that if you plan on doing any kind of shopping you'll have to do it on Saturday! The shops will be closed on Sunday!

Anone interested in a group tour of Barcelona,
by fattiretours.com

We took one of their tours in Berlin, and it was great - native English speakers, all the sights, lots of fun, and no great biking skill necessary.

So - the plan is - 9 AM Sunday morning (less traffic?). They have adult bikes, bikes for children, and bike seats for kids who ride with parents. The general tour is on their website. I have posted on another site, and some of you responded there :thumbsup2

Let me know if you are interested. It is 20 euro per person and lasts 4 hours. Includes the bike - which are easy ride cruiser bikes, with both hand and foot brakes, and a few gears. The starting point is near the Barcelona Cahthedra which is not that far from the ship.

Hey Dee....and everyone else.
I have been off line for a while but wanted to check in - I can't believe our countdown clock is ticking away.......
Got the passporter too but haven't even opened it. :scared1:

I will get back in the saddle soon :woohoo: :rolleyes1

Dee, we changed our flights. We're leaving on Aer Lingus, now. 5:40 out of JFK, I think. Yes, it is sucking up a lot of my vacation $$. Oh well, less for the kids to inheirit.;)

I'm still not sure about excursions, except for Barcelona. I hope we get some good travel reports from the May group.

Anybody else doing Aer Lingus on the 17th?:shamrock:
Just did my reservation with Aer Lingus, too.
