Our gang tolerates the Disney stuff around the house - it's the suitcases they hate (they have figured out we are leaving whenever they see them). :confused3

I've solved that problem! I leave them out now! He can't figure out what is going on! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: So every once in a while he takes a swipe at something Disney just to check! Mind you he hasn't been near the castle since the first incident! I guess I yelled so hard that I scared him half to death! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What castle? Something you got on the ship?

It was a Christmas Light Up DisneyLand Castle that I picked up in California! :thumbsup2 I keep it out year round though. It reminds me of the wonder trip and all the wonderful people I met along the way!

Thanks again, Donna and Howard!

I got this castle for Christmas this year, and it is really cool! One of my stupid cats attacked tinkerbell, ripped her completely off the castle and bit off her head. :furious: Unbelievable. DH found all the pieces though, for what that's worth...

Just wondering if we could get a little perspective on life on-board with a 2.5 year old DD. She is the Best! we all say that!
Would the flight be fun or what?
How about 6 sea days? Does anyone think Titanic?
We have already done 7 cruises in the past and will be on number eight in September for Costa Maya. This will be our Daughters 2nd cruise.
Any thoughts on shore excursions in europe....
Thanks for the help.;)

Heh Janet-- since you scared your cat into behaving - would you try yelling at Fagin (yeah - named after Oliver Twist). He finds new ways to get into trouble everyday. :lmao:

Baggage check will work - we should only have 2 bags apiece when we board the train. :goodvibes

I looked at the excursions offered by the other cruise lines for the Med. I'm sure Disney's offerings will be similar. I think we're going to have a hard time deciding what to do at each port.

Titanic went through my mind as soon as I decided to book a transatlantic sailing ... BUT there are enough life boats for all and technology has improved so our exact location will be known.

If all that fails, I'll go down knowing I will never get my credit card bill :)

The castle Janet has is from Disneyland (I was there when she bought it, and I've got one myself). I'm not sure if Vals is the same but for a time they were selling the disneyland one at disneyshopping.com

I looked to see if I could find one but couldn't. However at Disneyland they usually sell them at the christmas store year round, and most of the other stores near christmas time.

Poor Lindsay has spent all evening throwing up. Why is it that the poor child always gets sick on holidays and vacation, whenever she doens't have school. I feel bad for her she ends up spending all her off school time sick.

It only works for him staying away from the Castle! Nothing Else! I have a Disney Calendar by my computer which he constantly takes down! :lmao: :lmao: But I'll try!

As for the baggage, the video I saw from RailEurope showed people with one piece of luggage and one carryon! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I can't even do that for a trip to WDW! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Poor Lindsay. Hope she feels better soon. :grouphug: Hopefully she will grow out of it like DD did!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Pixie Dust - hopefully - this will help speed Lindsay to a quick recovery.

Renee - any advise or thoughts for Patricia1 :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I guess an iceberg would help us avoid getting that final checkout bill

OK some background, Haley has cruised since she was 11 months old. This cruise will be her 5th (all Disney), and by that time she will be almost 5 years old. Oh man, I can't believe my baby will be almost 5 when we go on this cruise.

Saying that, we were definitely not bored on the ship with her. She spent a lot of time looking for the characters. So much so, on the August PC Repo Cruise, we had to buy two picture packages! Anyway, this time she will be in the kid's club, which will make it a lot easier since she didn't like Flounder's last time. I don't think there was enough for her to do since she was almost 3, but that could have just been her. Due to her not being in Flounder's caused us to miss the Martini Tasting, Tequila Tasting and the more adult things like going to RBD at night. We did do things that we could take her with us. Also, one of the teenagers in our group watched her so we could go to the Palo Brunch and High Tea so that was great.

Between the pools, the kid's clubs, the characters, and the ship in general, she had a great time and kept busy. She also liked to hang out dancing in Studio Sea at night before she went to bed. She did extremely well when we flew from NJ to CA for the PC Repo (she slept the whole flight to Denver and then was awake until we landed, which was fine because she went to bed when we got to our hotel) so I'm thinking she will be fine for the flight to Europe (at least I hope so).

Was the other cruise your daughter was on a Disney one? How was she on that one?

Sorry to go on about this. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Renee

Donna, I hope that Lindsay is feeling good - with all the pixie dust sent to her. It was great seeing you last Friday. :wave2:
I think it would be great if the West Coast peoples could/would meet at Disneyland before our cruise next year - which means we have lots of time to plan & DO IT.

She seems to be doing better as long as she isn't eating anything. I have never seen her so sick. My mom said even my sis and I never got as sick as she was. Last night she must have thrown up 20 times in 5 hours it was just so sad to see her like that.

Wow, that's a lot to throw up when you're an adult let alone a kid. What did the doctor say? I hope it's nothing serious. Here's some pixie dust :wizard: so she'll feel better soon.

I hope she is feeling better. I'm concerned because you said she hasn't been eating anything. Hopefully she has been drinking a lot. Dehydration can happen quickly, especially in children and the elderly.

I live in Orange, CA. My DD was diagnosed with pneumonia and croup last Thursday and my DS, who also has asthma, came down with croup over the weekend. He is now on steroids. (When I'm able to take a step back, it is interesting seeing a male child behave as if they have MAJOR PMS!) We were in Hawaii over Spring Break and came back a week ago Monday, so I think they picked it up on the flight home.

Anyways! I'm hoping your daughter is feeling better.
