Is outside food allowed in?? We want to bring our own snacks but wasnt sure if they allowed it. This question is for both WDW and US. Thanks.

not sure about US - but I know WDW allows it!

Hi cannonballer and welcome to the DIS!

We bring snacks (healthy snacks which are hard to come by in the parks) for our 2 sons. Things like fruit snacks, juice boxes, crackers- that they don't sell in the parks. Security checks bags now, but we have had our bags with snacks checked many times and they never said a word about it.

This is an often talked about topic..yes, food and drinks are allowed. We often bring a backpack full of snacks (crackers, twizzlers, etc), and juices (juicey juices, sodas in plastic bottles, etc) for our family (2 adulkts, 3 kids). It not only saves us money, but saves us time (don't have to stand in line for a quick bite to eat). Security will check your bags, but we've never had a problem.

They may frown upon you walking in, pulling a coleman cooler overflowing with ice, w/sodas and snacks, but otherwise you will be ok.:D
