Bring your own movie snacks?i

If it's just me and DH, we don't feel the need to eat or drink. If I take my Little Sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters, I bring some snacks or candy for her in my purse. I've also filled up a big ziplock of the SmartPop popcorn. No guilt here--there is no way in heck I would pay the prices they ask for at the concessions.

We usually do a matinee, so dinner will be afterwards. No need for snacks.
We will bring a bottle of water in though. It keeps us from getting up during the movie to use the fountain if a drink becomes necessary. And a lot of times it never gets opened.

I bring my own bottled water. There is no way I am spending $4 for water, and I don't drink soda.

If the kids want candy, I will stop at the CVS on the way to the theatre and they pick out what they want. Candy at CVS is $1. I can't justify spending four or five times more than that at the theatre.

Sometimes we buy popcorn and sometimes we don't. It depends.

If the movie theater offered single-serving size candy we would probably buy it there. Unfortunately, they only offer larger sizes. Since we don't all want the same thing I won't buy it at the theater.
