We are leaving for DL next Friday, and I am going grocery shopping tomorrow. We aren't big breakfast eaters, so I usually buy items to eat in the hotel room. Also, to save a bit of money, we brought our own snacks into the park.
Last time we brought cold cereal (kept milk in the mini-fridge in the hotel room, bought plastic spoons and Dixie bowls) and Breakfast Bites for the kids. Also instant oatmeal and hot chocolate (we requested a coffeemaker in the room.) For snacks we bought fresh fruit (apples, bananas), various crackers, fruit snacks and water bottles.
What breakfast/snack items do you bring along on your trip? I need some fresh ideas!

(hehe) Last time I got a granola cereal and put granola in my yogurt. Plus, since they offer bread, they also have a toaster. I got english muffins. My son LOVES bagels and cream cheese.
Those things are huge!

but are you allowed to take in your own snacks and water bottles to the parks
? For some reason I thought when we have gone in the past we weren't allowed to take in a cooler bag
? Would be grateful to know cause we are going Nov 30th to Dec 9th
and it would be great if we could bring in our own water
. I am not so concerned with snacks as much as the water
, we don't drink soda or too much juice so keeping my family hydrated would be very costly
