Bring Own Bedding

Sometimes your car isn't even close to the room you'd be staying in.

:confused3

The OP reminds me of someone. Just who could it be I wonder...?

Would you be checking the mattress or would it be carry on. Cuz I seriously doubt it'll fit in an overhead bin.

Oops, noticed you'll be driving. I assume you'll strap it to the top?

Bizarre idea that my son in fact posted almost 2 years ago under Takodacaleb. He was joking and I am sure you are. Unfortunately the thread turned ugly and several negative comments regarding my parenting were posted. Thanks for reminding me of the silliness my son had at age 12. I am saddened that my son's love of the Disboards ended after his thread in 2009. I hope that your joke is taken more lightly.

Of course you can bring your own mattress, we do it every trip. Bell services even helps us deliver it to the room. We also bring our own shower heads, the ones on property shoot out really hard and hurt my skin.

And I prefer cake, pie is for old people.

Remember what happened to Aunt Edna when Chevy Chase strapped her to the top... IT RAINED CATS AND DOGS!!!

Aw, I miss the Amanda Show.....back when she was actually enjoyable and didn't look weird (why are her cheeks so puffy?!)

It was one of the shows my sons watched on Nick that I thought was somewhat funny. Much better then Kenan and Kel.

Sure, we've done it lots of times. I can't sit on hotel toilets, so I bring my own of that as well. I'm thinking this year I may bring my own carpet too...I hate walking on hotel carpet.

A while back, we passed a Cadillac going down the interstate with a full size toilet hanging out of the trunk. That must have been you!

Whaaaaaaat???? No way!!! Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda. I do I do I do hoo!!!

Ah I miss the good old days of SNICK.

If your flight arrives after 10 p.m., you have to go to baggage claim and get it. Magical Express won't deliver it until the next morning. You COULD pack a hammock in your carryon and wait for them to bring the mattress to your room in the morning. Be prepared that unless you're flying Southwest, you'll have to pay extra baggage fees for your oversized item.

That guy was a legend. Even after he disappeared, he is still seen everywhere.

Whatever you do, just don't say his name three times...

On the slim chance the OP is serious, his (or her, let's not be close-minded here) wife should strongly consider an inflatable mattress.
  • They're accepted in the rooms.
  • You can inflate or deflate them as needed; the better one's have, I think, remote controls
  • They're genuinely portable - most come with a travel bag
  • Unlikely to impossible they would harbor bedbugs
  • Save money on tips - only need one person from Bell Services
  • An inflatable bed won't fly off the car at 70 mph and cause an accident...or worse
