I was just wondering what some of you would recommend regarding baby supplies. We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old. The 2 1/2 year old is still in diapers and the baby is eating some solids. We have been to Disney before but not with the kids. I am just trying to figure out if we should bring the stuff and then have some room for souvenirs (we are flying, but usually ship most of our souvenirs home from Disney, though we will probably buy some small things here and there that won't pay to ship).
Thanks!

I guess it depends on how long you're staying and how much you'll need. If you're going to have to carry a ton of stuff I don't think it's worth the hassle. But stuff like that at WDW can be expensive. You could also investigate the feasibility of something like www.wegoshop.com. You could have them shop for the diapers, food, sodas, etc. and deliver them to your room. I think it costs around $15 plus the cost of the groceries.

When we visited WDW in '04, HappyLimo made a stop for us at a grocery store to pick up our pre-ordered items before dropping us off at the Contemporary. We pack diapers for our DS and pre-ordered baby food. Visit www.mousesavers.com for more details.

Since we have young kids, we usually rent a car. On the way to Disney, we stop at and Eckerds outside the entrance and pick up everything there. There's also a Goodings supermarket in the Crossroads shopping center you can go to.

We found with all our kids clothes and our own, we already have 3-4 suitcases to lug around (depending on how long we are there, usually a week) plus the stroller and the car seat and our carry-ons. If we packed the diapers and food it would be more for us to carry through the airport.

I also think the towncar idea is a good one if you don't rent a car. It's very convenient.

We took our 9 month old last May but we flew down so we shipped a box of supplies to the resort before we left and it worked out great. If you have your own car I would think you would want to make a grocery store stop anyways so why not buy it then. If you want to pick things up a little at a time like I did then start a box at home and ship it right before you leave. The resort will hold it for you until check-in. Then we used the same box on the way home for extra stuff. I would think buying supplies at Disney will be the most expensive option. I also liked the bigger packages of diapers so that I made sure I had enough and I'm not sure if Disney sells the big packages. This next trip I have started a suitcase for supplies like diapers, cups, snacks, etc. We are beyond baby food since my DD will be 21 months when we go. Just a suggestion.

Since you have a car, definitely buy the baby food (unless there is something that you are very particular about - such as brand) at a supermarket down there. I always pack disposables rather than buy them there because that leaves room for souvenirs on the way home!

i brought so much stuff with me because i thought things would be so expensive, but when i hit walmart, andi was in int like every day, i liked it better then the one at home, i saw that next time i can buy some stuff there. I mean like if you are running low on things, i would jsut buy it there save room and space
