Bring old MB?

Hello, we went to WDW in December and received MBs. We are going back in 2 weeks. Do we bring our old MBs? What happens if I don't have all of them?

1- You can, if you want.

2- You'll just use the new set you will receive, if you are staying at a WDW resort again.

We had magic bands from our trip in September. The other couple in our group went back in december, but had not thought to pack their magic bands. They were given basic gray when they checked in.

I usually bring the new one, and a spare one in case the new one gets lost. Any of the ones you have will work, since they are just accessing your account instead of actually storing information on the band.

I haven't had to use the backup band yet. Has anyone used an old band to unlock their resort door? That's the only piece of the puzzle I haven't seen anywhere. But the old ones work fine for admission and FP+.
