Bring it down a notch

Not my thing. I liked pumpkin pie when I was a kid, but somewhere along the line lost my taste for it. I don't really have any seasonal favorites. Cheeseburgers are always in season :)

I highly recommend these products: ;)

I like pumpkin but I do think it all gets taken too far. It's fine if it's pumpkin muffins, coffee, ice cream, yeah I even like pumpkin beer but it seems like they make pumpkin everything.

I do want to add that the thread title is clearly wrong.
It should be "Are you pumpkin free by choice". You'll get more like minded people to discuss how you handle pumpkin related situations.

I'm open to ALL on my threads. I'm not so close minded to think the crazy :crazy:pumkin lover people need to be caged.

Though they really need their own grocery store. ;)

Don't ask me... I just tried Tika Masala potato chips lol ( good, not great)
My niece started me on it after her pickle potato chips craze.
Pumpkin stuff... I'll take a pass!

Oh yeah, they could make a whole range of feminine products...

Not forgetting the men - how about pumpkin spiced aftershave?

Well, they had the pumpkin spiced condoms. But were they scented for "her" pleasure?

I can't take this insane pumpkin invasion anymore. Why people, why? I can see a doughnut or pumpkin bread -- and I'll even let you go gaga over the Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes. But pumpkin potato chips, butter, yogurt, English muffins, peeps, Oreos, hot tea, gum, M&M's, cream cheese, pop tarts, Cheerios, toaster strudel, creamer, skittles, ice cream, and I even heard toothpaste (that could be urban legend but I'm prone to think it's true because the grocery store is invaded with orange.) Enough Already! I don't want everything pumpkin. Ugh!!! And don't even get me started on the pumpkin beer.

Who's with me?

I get it! And I agree!!

It's too much & way overdone! And I'm saying this as someone who likes pumpkin spiced coffee & pumpkin bread & pumpkin pie & other pumpkin-y things.

But, really, it's not even fall yet... fall doesn't officially begin until September 22nd.

Leave my summer alone!!

October & November are plenty long enough for all things pumpkin-spice!

Totally agree, the proliferation of pumpkin products has gotten crazy. I like it OK, don't love it nor hate it, but my taste is limited to traditional baked goods- pie, cake, muffins, etc.

There seems to be a similar strange obsession recently with bacon. Don't get that either. I mean occasionally some bacon is nice for breakfast or on a sandwich, but beer or ice cream? No thanks.

I don't like the taste of pumpkin, so I obviously do not get the fascination. It's also a little amusing because it's still in the 80's and 90s here, not great weather for sipping a hot latte.

I can't begrudge people their joy too much though because I know I look for every first sign of winter ending each year.
