Brief update on MsDisney23 (Kitty) **And another update, page 2 #17**

I talked to Kitty earlier yesterday afternoon. She sounded a lot better than earlier in the week.

Kitty is on some different anti-rejection meds which seem to be doing better than what she was on previously. She still is very worn out, though her blood-work is looking better she said.

Her hubby, Gary, was with her at the time I called. As I was asking her questions, she was asking Gary for some of the answers. It brought me a smile, not sure why, just thought it was sort of cute.

Kitty sure wants to get fully on the mend and get home. She thought, if all continues well, she may be back home quite soon. As for now, the hospital.

I told her how the folks here on the DIS were concerned about her and the many requests I had for her address to send a card or a good/get-well wish. She is so appreciative of that and the good wishes and prayers.

Dan, thx for the positive report on Kitty! Glad to hear things are looking up and continued prayers that the new meds work and she'll be back with us real soon.

Oh, and adding. I did ask Kitty about email to the hospital for her, as was suggested here earlier last week by golfgal and Kitty said the hospital does not have that service. She said one of the other ones she was in at her transplant time did.

And, how ironic!!!!! As I was typing this addon, Kitty called me. She did come home today. The doctors thought she was coming along fairly well and thought home would be better at the moment than more days in the hospital. She is on very high doses of prednisone (300 mg I think it was) and says she is really blown up from it. Also, taking 64 pills a day. Kitty said she has to go back Thursday and if her blood numbers (2 different ones they are looking at) are continuing to improve, she can stay out, however, if not, she will have to go back in the hospital. She is hoping, but not sure.

She said her eyes are too sore to come on the computer to say hello.

Her mom is coming over tomorrow and she is looking forward to some homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

It was good to hear she is home, hoping she stays home.
