Bridge to BLT only open to DVC members

I would think could let guests staying in the regular Tower building or Garden Wings use the bridge since they are staying there, because what if they want to look around and etc.

I see the bridge as a convenience for DVC members only to get to the monorail, shops and restaurants in CR. If guests staying at CR wish to see the amenities @ BLT they would be more than welcome to walk through the front entrance. Other than satisfying curiosity I don't see much point in regular guests even going to BLT. I don't think there would be much for them to do there.

Well I only said that because if someone staying in the Tower wants to see the inside of Bay Lake Tower it would be easier to use the walkway on the 4th floor.

While waiting to see the BLT models we overheard a guide explaining the amenities at AKV and he was very specific that the pool area at Kidani would be limitied to DVC members and their guests staying at either Jambo or Kidani Village on points. It will definitely be interesting to see how it works out.

I'm betting that pool hopping to the Contemporary in general (either the main pool or BLT) will become off-limits completely to DVC members. That way there won't be any confusion about it being okay to hop to main pool but not blt and will solve the mess of BLT'ers being allowed to use (hop under current dvc rules) the main pool but CR guests not being able to use the BLT pool. AKV is already off-limits and I can see them seperating the 2 pools for exclusive use of guests depending on where they're staying as well. jmho.

I hope that your theory becomes true.

Pool hopping is a pain.
There is so much to do at WDW besides pool hop.
I think that more people would benefit from elimination of hopping than keeping it.
All the DVC's are great places to stay, so if you need to chill, just chill where you're staying.

That said, I have "hopped" to the Contemporary pool because I like to sit on the lake there for sentimental reasons. In fact, last Jan I was staying off property on bsiness and I spent a few hours one afternoon doing some paperwork poolside by Bay Lake. The pool area was empty anyway -- so empty it was a little depressing. I didn't swim, use towels or take anyone's seat.

I say eliminate official hopping, and if apool is empty just hop under the radar and don't be a slob and be polite and everyone calm down about the whole issue. If a pool is crowded, check ID's and kick out the hoppers.

And for Goodness' Sake get all the towels off those chairs. That causes a lot more problems than hoppers.
